hello everyone welcome back to my channel I Mary otherwise known as a resourceful mama today i'm doing a collaboration with margaret dealer of margaret baylor on youtube i will leave a link below of her channel so please don't check her out she have a fabulous channel and I'm not just saying that I've been following her for a very long time and finally I reached out to her and after she would like to do a clap with me so we are doing an easter class together and we're going to show you what we're making today we are going to be making some sweet dinner rolls for Easter you need four cups of flour now I prefer to use bread flour but you can use all-purpose flour if you have that one is being a five tablespoons of butter softened one-and-a-half teaspoons of salt now that's optional I do not add any extra salt as I use salted butter one third cup of warm milk which is not shown here but I do have it heating up two-and-a-quarter teaspoons of yeast which is a packet one third cup of warm water and five tablespoons plus a quarter teaspoon of sugar now I have the sugar here separated into the five and then in this container i have my yeast and my quarter teaspoon of sugar so we're going to go ahead and start the rolls okay first up we're going to take our one-third cup of water this is warm water we're going to go ahead and just dump it in a bowl too bad we're going to add our youth and our quarter teaspoon of sugar just going to go ahead give it a stir second step while we're waiting for the yeast to go ahead and prove we're going to go ahead and mix up the other ingredients and then once we get them done that you should be ready to be added in so we're going to go ahead and add in our 5 tbsp a sugar 5 tablespoons of butter that is softened now you don't have to microwave this just pull it out of the fridge ahead of time one egg one in one third cup of warm milk now we're going to go ahead and just turn that on a little bit now at this point is when you would add in your salt if you're added in this extra song ok so now I'm going to go ahead and add in the game [Applause] and I'm also going to go into it and I start adding in my flower I have a bowl with some oil in it get it all around the sides of course you can use your hand okay now the job is going to be sticking you don't want it to be a dry dough so I'm just going to go ahead and put it in the bowl that it toss it around a little bit clucks around to get coated I'm just going to move it with my fingers a little bit just to give it some shape okay let me put it back in the bowl I'm going to cover this and let it rise for a while so while our dough is rising i'm going to go ahead and make the honey butter that we're going to brush on to the rolls so what you're going to need is a 4 tablespoons of softened butter 3 tablespoons of honey I'm just going to kind of add it in an eyeball it so it looks pretty good and then I'm going to add in 3 tablespoons of confectioner's sugar okay and add in 3 tablespoons of confectioner's sugar now we're just going to go ahead and give that a little mix now my butter is not completely softened so I'm just going to push it down a little bit and I have time to let it sit to soften while the dough is rising so I'm not too concerned about it not being softened alright guys to have already our dough has doubled I have two glass pans here this is what i'm using i laid parchment paper on the bottom i'm going to go ahead and bring his side some cooking spray i'm going to go ahead and spray the sides and the bottom with cooking spray don't be afraid to spray the side you don't want the rule stick okay that's good okay so now that I have flour down on my board here i'm going to go ahead and turn this out now notice if I this dough into two and i'm just going to create a ball i'm going to set this one aside well i'm working with the other okay okay now i'm going to go ahead and roll this out a bit get my piece of cutter and cut it into sections like a pizza i'm going to do smaller ok so now you have those can just slap them out a little bit and then you're going to go ahead and I'm just going to roll over these a little bit you're going to go ahead and brush on I went ahead and melted this this is the butter honey and confection sugar you're just going to brush it on okay so now that that's done it we're just going to go ahead and start at the fat end I like to just push it down a little bit i'm going to go ahead and just roll it up hope you can see that just rolling it up and we're going to go ahead and just place it in our pan ok guys so now that they're all in the pan i'm going to go ahead and brush the tops with mixture again give them a nice coating just give it a nice flavor and now i'm going to go ahead and cover this again it's going to have to rise again you can use a towel if you prefer go ahead and cover it and I'm going to just put it on my stove to rise okay guys i just put them in the oven i'm going to let them bake and i will show you when they're done here they are don't they look the ownership these things are so good
