I'm Linda of protein rice today I'm going to prepare baked almond crusted chicken this chicken is normally deep-fried but I prefer to bake it in the oven and it tastes just as delicious for dredging I have quarter cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper and 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1 egg to be mixed with 2 tablespoons water 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs and quarter cup ground almond I have four chicken breasts here skin remove all in but skin removed and oil or spring mix all this dredging ingredients together beat the egg with 2 tablespoons water and mix this counting ingredients together as well first we want to dredge the chicken with the flour and dip it in the egg mixture and finally coat it with this nice bread crumbs and almond mixture and then place it on this tray that is like yeast break with oil all four pieces of chicken are now ready sprayed with some oil so that you'll have a nice golden finish in the oven I have the oven preheated at 350 degrees we're gonna places chicken in there and make for 50 to 60 minutes after 50 to 60 minutes our chicken is now fully cooked the crust is nice and crunchy and golden and there you have it delicious baked almond crusted chicken it is moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside serve it with fingerling potato salad or baked sweet potatoes links for both recipes can be found at the end of this video I hope you have enjoyed this recipe please subscribe for future recipe updates and do write your comments below or connect with me by a google+ facebook and twitter see you in the next video and as always happy cooking and thank you for watching
