I would like to show you now is the proper way to Airy a twine and before we did that let me give you a couple of quick terms I'd like to expose you to explain to you to two terms one is aroma the other is bouquet well in the wine role we think about aroma we tend to think of a new wine a brand new wine and in number two that the second word would be bouquet when we used the word bouquet we like to think of an older wine older meaning five seven twelve fifteen years old they try to think of the bouquet of the wine for an older wine now why would we want to use a decanter and this is a small one here I can show you this will allow you to open the wine to explode to expose it to some air and it works just like this I'm going to hold it just as for a single glass I'm gonna hold it above the glass and pour and you can tell about that salad it's actually breathing it's actually this little gizmo here actually exposes the wine to the air now on a much bigger version let's move this off to the side is a larger decanter I want to like to tell my students here is get yourself inexpensive decanter if you if you go out and get a riddle to Canada it's like $350 you'll put it in a cupboard you'll never use it get one you can use it for breaks fifteen bucks who cares so it get a nice one that it's got a good shape to it but you can use it all the time and this is this decanter pretty much does same thing that this did this is a decanter with a little filter on the inside and the filter is sometimes you want to do this for older wine this will collect all of the wine Googie or or particles wine Googie is a my technical term set that in there set the screen and pour through that he can err and watch what happens so so notice how this exposing the wine to all the air gently filtering it and it's swirling it through and the wine is now being exposed exposed to the air and there you go can then use a napkin - or a table or a nice cloth to go ahead and remove it and now I've actually have the line that's been geek antic and from here I can go ahead and pour this into my glass that's the proper way to the camera
