Please explain how to make an edible snow globe

so if you read and habitat you probably know that I'm a bit of a terrarium fan girl that doesn't sound quite as cool when you say it out loud but anyway I always try to incorporate trans into different parts of my life and recently I was thinking it would be really cool to create a little tiny edible terrarium that you can serve to your guests and since we're in the holiday season right now I thought it would be even more fun if the little terrariums were also many snow globes so I know that the left tikkun but it's actually pretty easy to do and you only get a few ingredients the first one is coconut juice and I like to use the coconut juice that comes with a little coconut bits inside of it and that's because they look like snow but you can use whatever juice that you want you can even use water then I like to use agar agar and if you're not familiar with a bar a bar it's actually a natural gelling agent that is derived from red algae and the reason I like to use this is that unlike gelatin this is totally animal product free so if you have guests are vegan or vegetarian this is perfectly fine to serve them and the other reason that I like to use agar agar is that it gels at room temperature so you actually don't even have to put this in the fridge if you don't want you then we have to have our embellishments so I've got some pomegranate seeds here really pretty pomegranate seeds I'm also using some herbs because we have our terrarium theme going and I'm going to use time in line you might want to use something that's a little more traditional like mint or even basil would go really great with coconut I like the flavor of the time it is really strong though so you want to adjust this recipe to your palate I just think the time was really cool-looking because it has these little tiny leaves on it and just need some molds so you can use things like ice cube trays these are just leftover pudding cups that I just washed out and here's silicone mold so you can use different molds in all different sizes whatever you want your terrarium to look like and that's pretty much it so let's get started first combine two cups of coconut juice with coconut pieces and three teaspoons of agar agar powder and whisk together over medium heat until it comes to a boil after the mixture comes to a boil continue to whisk for about three minutes and I've transferred my agar agar mixture into a cup so that I can pour it more easily so I'm just going to start pouring these into the different moulds and just be cognizant that agar agar unlike jello does set up at room temperature so you want to work quickly carefully but still quickly because it will start to set up so after you start pouring these let them set up just for maybe two minutes until you notice that they're starting to harden and then we're going to start adding in our decorations next is the fun part where we add our decorations and as you can see I've already started doing some of these and you'll see like these set up really quickly like this little bit that drop down here is already like pretty gelatinous so yeah you want to work pretty quickly especially for these smaller guys because they'll start setting up and once they start setting up it's really easy to get all of these little herbs and things I'm using things like pomegranate seeds which are really pretty and they look like little jewels in here I've got some little trees that I cut out from Kiwis I've got some alfalfa sprouts some basil so and you'll see if you let it set up for a little bit first these items will just kind of be able to stand up on their own in there now for the moment you've all been waiting for I'm going to unmold these now so I've got a couple plates set up so I can plate these nicely and I'm going to take some shredded coconut and plop it down so that looks like a nice snowy scene and put a little bit over here too and I think that's enough and let me start with these little guys here and you might need to use like a knife or something to get these out sometimes it's a little tricky but I think it's actually easier than jello and you can see that see the little plants inside there and if there is extra little bits like this you want to take off you can just remove them before you pop them onto your plate this guy there you go I'm just going to use a scissor to cut off little and piece there and then for the medium ones start with this one looks very pretty and festive and here's one I'll put on this plate and then I'm going to cut these little stems off as well so that they sit properly on plate these are really easy to take out the silicone ones and last but not least the bigger ones I'll do this kind of right here make room for this last one over here and then if you want to do a little more pomegranate seeds on top you can you could even do a couple more coconut shreds on top to make it look even more snowy and there you have it your edible trillions I hope you try this DIY and if you do please let us know how it turned out in the comments below happy holidays you
