hey guys today i'll be showing you how to make a pink cushion with five by seven minutes crystal starburst here is what you need first using the fabric pencil draw around a circle a bit bigger than the original size this will be cut out on two layers of fabric just to make it a bit more opaque place the circle on the center using a folding method attach the fabric onto the cardboard and use the hot glue gun as an adhesive here's a careful and please have supervision if needed this is what it should look like don't worry if it isn't even or messy as it won't be seen now like we did before draw around a circle about double the size and cut it out this is done on two layers again and then place the cardboard on the center and trace around it then draw the pattern inside the circle it will look like this then using the thin gold ribbon fold it in half and pin it down to outline the shape of the star if you have a ribbon piece that is already this thin you can use it instead of holding it like mine now after you've pinned it you're going to sew down the ribbon into place this yellow thread it would then look like this a beautiful star then using a thicker gold ribbon or any gold fabric you may have with you cut out two circles which will be made into a mirror cut it out a bit larger as you'll be sewing it and turning inside out and you'll pin it down like this and then sew around it at the edge voila you will then stitch the shape of the crescent moon onto the circle after that you will use the exact color beads to use as the jewels so after sewing them down i was unhappy with how the big jewel was supposed to look like i don't know why i just looked better in my head anyways i had to quickly improvise and i found a shiny pink fabric i had at home and i cut it into a small circle filled it with the stuffing and sewed it down or you could make your life completely easier and just get a big jewel and stick it on right there and it ended up looking like this not bad and now using the other cardboard circle use this as a base for the cushion this will also give stability when attaching it onto the other circle piece feel the fabric with stuffing so it can pop up and look beautiful you are going to need a lot of stuffing now grab your pink threaded needle and sew near the edge of the fabric so you can gather it up here you'll fill the fabric up with stuffing and place the cardboard on top also before you tighten the gallon to close it insert more stuffing to create a firmer around the shape if you feel like it needs more make more stitches to further secure as well now take the cushion and the circle base and attach it this is also optional but you can attach elastic band onto the base just if you want to wear it on your wrist while sewing or just to hang it next to your sewing machine use the hot glue gun to attach it all together and keep it in place using the needle and thread again sew along the edges to attach it more securely it will then look like this what you've sewn around it after that grab the gold ribbon again and glue it on along the bottom edge of the cushion this will also cover up any messy stitching unless of course you have perfect stitching and want to showcase them again with the gold ribbon make a bow to add a decoration and to corrupt the raw edges then if you want to use a pearl pin to pin it into the center of the bow this just makes it look more pretty and just keep the bone in place a little more and we're done
