Please explain how to pack dishes - video 10 of 16 - kootenai storage and relocation

hi Craig at Kootenai moving calm thanks for watching putting together a packing video for those of you that want to do your own packing thanks for watching we're packing dishes China quite frankly in vases and things out of the kitchen breakable things we're using excuse me we're using the dish barrel which is an important box to use when packing those breakable things when you start packing a dish barrel you pack it very much like a truck you put the sturdiest this is Waterford crystal wrap it up really well with paper but I can practically stand on this thing and it's not going to break this thing is heavy it's sturdy it needs to go on the bottom stemware needs to go on top so when setting up this box I there's this box is already filled up to about right here with paper crushed paper by the time the boxes filled that crushed paper is going to condense down to about there so we're going to have this much condensed paper and then I'm going to start putting in really sturdy things this right here represents there's about six dishes in there and I'm going to show you in a second and then we have vases and but what we want to try to do is when we're done filling the first section of this box try to make sure that you've leveled off and that you it's all flat then another layer of paper and then we'll start again with something else so here we go
