Please explain how to make cream cheese buttermilk biscuits with sweet tea syrup

so I've never lived a day in the south but at heart I am a true southern boy there's just something about the easy living that I'm attracted to and nothing says the south better than biscuits in syrup I take the classic combo and give it a twist making my cream-cheese buttermilk biscuits my way I mix flour salt and baking powder and mix it by hand with cold butter and a few Pat's of cream cheese then I drizzle in buttermilk until the dough is just the right consistency after cutting out each biscuit I give them a brush with melted butter just to ensure they cook up golden brown I serve the biscuits with the syrup made from southern sweet teas it's so simple you don't even need a recipe and of course everything we do you know it's got to be simple easy delicious and just good food so let's get started I'm super excited about these biscuits what you see me doing pretty much it's just cutting out the biscuit dough these are going to be fantastic these are those buttermilk cream cheese biscuits who knew you could put cream cheese in a biscuit I'm telling what this does for the taste and the texture is absolutely fantastic so all I'm doing is simply rolling out the dogs got my biscuit cutter here I've got my floured surface I'm rolling out the biscuits putting him on the cookie sheet let me actually show you how I made the biscuit dough here's how I did it I take flour and mix it with salt a little sugar and baking powders then I add cold butter along with cream cheese and mix the butter into the flour just until the butter is combined if there are a few big chunks it's okay the best way to know if the mixture is perfect is when you grab some of the flour squeeze in your hand if you're sort of holds together in your spot going I had just enough buttermilk until the dough comes together then I flour my board and rolled out the dough to about an inch or so thick all right some buttermilk cream cheese biscuits they look amazing I rode them out one of the things that I do just so that you know is sometimes I'll roll amounts to about an interest though and I'll stack two on top of each other because that there that's the way to go that's how you get a nice jumbo sized biscuit I mean I ain't no little petite thing walking around you know and I got to tell you all I'm doing is just kind of sticking notes of butter I'm buttering our biscuits beforehand they're gonna Brown up really nicely that way and they're gonna be absolutely fantastic every time I make biscuits this way it reminds me of my summers at mountain meadow summer camp in southern New Jersey shout out to all my people from Philly and southern Jersey I used to go there every summer the overnight count for about two weeks they do some incredible work with kids and I was the kitchen director and I gotta tell you every day I would get up and we would have biscuits just like this but I would make honey butter and Stan and we would make biscuits by the bucket fool well I tell you those were some good times and we used to rolled out the biscuits nothing fancy to use the top of a cup to sort of roll them out and stamp them and they entrench them in honey butter and the kids absolutely loving it as well so real simple right biscuit dough is done just want to make sure I get every corner of these biscuits coated in this melted butter they're gonna Brown up gonna be fantastic these biscuits are now ready for the oven all right so our biscuits are out of the oven they look absolutely fantastic these are the nice sort of jumbo size biscuits that are still a little bit warm but this is exactly what you want so I'm gonna try to take the biscuits and put them right here pan on our plate rather than coming out of the pan and this is exactly what you want that cream cheese has given us a super fantastic texture that looks really really this is our our sweet tea syrup look how thick it is it's absolutely just remarkable let me let me show you how I did it to make the sweet tea syrup start by brewing a pot of tea sugar and limit at the beginning put the tea on a simmer and let it boil away as the water in the tea evaporates the surf will form watch it so it doesn't get too thick but if it does nowhere we just add a few splashes of water until you get the desired consistency you'd like and then just for kicks I'm just gonna drop just a little squeeze of lemon at the end just at the end and I gotta go in for taste right so here's the biscuit who knew you could make sweet tea into a syrup and look at these biscuits nice and hearty that's a biscuit dad it's a biscuit let me drop a little bit of syrup right on top of there mmm give it a taste talk about South this is a style in one bite here we go what are you without a trial the victim super fluffy mm nice and moist that thing that happens right here is this happening with the piston the sir the lightness from the lemon that is super super super fantastic this is the winner you got to give it a try all right the recipe and so many more there on my website it's WWE XCOM 2 things I gotta tell you food is my life in life it's my food until next time I want to wish you happy cooking from my heart to yours
