finally we're updating our Chihiro doctor video giving you an update on how this is working we installed one in our I think it's a 29 gallon aquarium a while ago we were happy with the results but it's it's gotten all clogged up with this I don't know like calcium deposit I think so in the instruction manual that comes with the Chihiro it says that you can use chlorine in water so just your regular household bleach mixed with water and you can let it sit in that and soak for several hours but we found that straight vinegar works just as well or better and it's not harmful for the environment so that's what we'll do right now we'll let it soak so I'll just put it in this cup there and put some just five percent five percent white vinegar to cover it maybe a little bit more and we'll come and check up on it in a couple of hours and see how that has helped it's been in the vinegar for about a minute now and you can already see how the vinegar the acid in the vinegar is even away at the calcium deposits and see those little bubbles alright so we'll come back and check on it in a couple of hours well now it's been several hours so let's look at what it looks like all cleaned up pretty good so I'm just going to go and give this a rinse and then we'll put it back in our tank and turn it on and see how many bubbles we get out of it okay so we're going to turn this on now it's installed back in our aquarium and we'll we'll turn it on and see how many bubbles come out now that it's been cleaned in our vinegar solution there we go practically like new well we're very happy with that result so all we did was soak it for a couple of hours in 5% vinegar just plain white vinegar to get all the the calcium deposits off of the little plaque and I hope this was useful if you have any questions or your own way of cleaning your Chihiro let us know in the comments below
