hey hey hey it's me Tiffany and I'm back so I wanted to share with you some important information because so many dream catchers have reached out to me and said that they're really interested in making income outside of their normal everyday job and one of the best ways to make income is to write a book and I know so many of you are also interested in self-publishing now you might think to yourself an author I could never be an author I thought the same thing a few years ago if I would have went a real author in person of a book that I actually had in my hand I would have been like oh my god you know I thought to be an author you had to be like famous or well-known that's just not true at least not now so here's my first book the one-week budget and the only way that this book came about is because I actually had a book mentor there's a theme here mentor mentor mentor so my book mentor told me Tiffany everyone knows somebody or everyone knows something more than someone else you might know how to cook better than someone else you might know about kids better than someone else me I knew how to budget budget better than most people but so I wrote a book about it and what's really important is that I self-published it back in the day I would have had to submit this manuscript to a bunch of publishers who would have told me no no no no no and then my book would never have come out but these days you don't have to wait for anyone else is yes you can create your own and here's how there's this great website called create space I'll say it again create like to make something space like outer space so at create space calm you can make your self publishing dreams come true for free yes you know I love me some free I'm wearing money green a day so create space is an Amazon company you know amazon.com that huge company well they own create space and what create space is it's a self publishing platform and so what you can do at create space is that you are allowed to upload your book including the cover and the inside so you're gonna probably have to find a graphic designer maybe a friend of yours to make your book look cute for you and then you upload it to create space for free and then create spiritual review it to make sure that it's an alignment with the way they want things uploaded at create space and once it is you order a proof which is just a copy of your own book and if you okay it you click a button that says make live to Amazon that's it and you're a published author how awesome is that and that's what I did I uploaded my book to create space I approved it and now this book has been a number one bestseller on Amazon more times than I can even count for the last three years it has not dropped off the bestsellers list yes so it's important that once you get your book here's some tips about how to make the best book possible one write about what you know to make sure that your cover yes you want your cover to be cute and attractive but you want your cover to be readable when this book goes on Amazon and when your book goes on Amazon it's actually going to be an icon a really small icon so you want to make sure that your title can be read even when the book is shrunken down really really little and that you're your author name can be read as well too so that's a great tip just make sure you do that and then 3 another tip to really help you with your book is to make sure that you let people know before that it comes out that it's coming I would suggest a few months in advance that you're letting people know my book is coming my book is coming my book is coming maybe shows on the cover maybe let them have a free excerpt and one last tip to make sure that you do really well on create space and I wish I would have known this is invest a little extra money that creates space will charge to turn your book into an e-book really a Kindle ready version of your book and then charge no more than five dollars for it I wish I would have done it my Kindle book in this version sells way more than the physical book and I waited a whole year to turn my physical book into a Kindle book so with those tips you are ready to go I know you're thinking wow Tiffany that was an amazing great tip guess what I have even more in the literature Academy see what mentorship can do my mentor showed me and now I'm showing you and in the Academy I show you even more see you there soon
