thank you for joining me here at same different day I am using three different colors a yard each from Walmart for 94 cents a yard I am using some elastic on the roll this is also four from Walmart for around ninety cents or dollar and this ribbon is from the Dollar Tree let's get started decide how much of the elastic you need and then take it and tie it up this is for a little girl's skirt so I'm gonna tie it and then leave it so as she grows it can be re tied if if need be and extend it out to get bigger just tie it real good like this now we're gonna cut our fabrics up and just tie them on I am just gonna leave this folded in half just the way they gave it to me at the store and I'm just gonna cut it in strips and well yeah and then I'll be ready to tie it on so you want to have it just double just so you're not doing extra unnecessary cutting and it doesn't have to be perfect because they're just gonna be all bunched together and so no one's gonna see if the lines are really straight or not I'm just gonna go down and cut it like this you can decide however wide you want yours or you can vary the width and do some wide and some more narrow once you get your strips cut you're just gonna tie it around the elastic and that is all there is to it now I'm gonna go ahead and just tie the rest of the links around it okay now that I have them all tied on I am going to push them closer together and then I'm going to tie my elastic up a little tighter I'm also gonna probably go in here and doubles high each one of them I just wanted to make sure I had them in place first before I did that so that they stay on just like this and then I'm just gonna add some ribbon to it I hope you can see how it's turning out all little girls want to be princesses and this is a perfect princess type of skirt so I'm going to just add the ribbon to it
