hey everyone its James from fun foods and today I'm going to show you to make this mountain Dew milkshake this is so good and so delicious even has Doritos on top of it so keep watching and I'll show you step by step how to make this now the first thing we need to do is make our syrup and we're going to take two cups of Mountain Dew soda pour it into a heavy-bottomed pot then we just want to take this over to the stove we want to boil it down until the volume is about half its current volume or you can reach a temperature of 225 degrees Fahrenheit or 105 degrees Celsius that will be a good temperature and at that point you want to turn your stove off and let this come down to room temperature next we need to prepare our glass and to do that I have some white chocolate just going for that in a bowl melt it down when your white chocolates all melted we're just going to color that yellow now make sure you use gel base food coloring not water base after your chocolate has been colored yellow set them aside I just have some regular Doritos in a plastic baggie I just want to crush these up into small little bits make sure you let some of that air out of the bag when you're Doritos are all crushed up just put them in a wide bowl like that now the first thing we're going to do is take our cup and we're going to dip it into this chocolate dip it in really good cover that rim and as soon as you got it covered go over to your Doritos cover the rim with the Doritos and the other thing we're going to do is take the rest of our chocolate put it in a little baggie here and this is going to be our piping bag I'm just going to cut a nice wide hole out of this pipe inside of the glass now that our glass is prepared we're going to go on to make our milkshake I'm just going to set this aside now to make our milkshake what we're going to do is start off with about three or four scoops of ice cream vanilla ice cream add 1 cup of milk whole milk and for thickness I'm going to add one cup of ice also a teaspoon of vanilla extract for flavoring our Mountain Dew syrup which is the most important part don't pour that in there then add a few drops this is water-based green food coloring so I had a few drops of that and I can always add more if I need to pop the lid on and mix and that's a perfect color green so I'm not going to add any more green to that I think that's great now we're just going to pour this into our glass I'm going to try not to touch the sides then we can top it with some whipped cream and maybe some green sprinkles dorito would look good in it right about here and a straw well now it's time for the taste-test I can't wait to try this out and here we go it's very good it's very flavorful I haven't tried the Doritos let me...nice kick with the Doritos and the milkshake well thanks everyone for watching I hope you enjoyed watching make this mountain Dew milkshake it was a lot of fun making this video and if you enjoyed this please hit that like button also hit that big red subscribe button if you're not already subscribe to get new videos every week and be sure to check out some of the videos I have all set aside I think you may enjoy those as well and until then I'll see you next week
