now what do we think we think wicker all the time well we think wicker outside because most commonly use it in the garden or on the lanai or the patio or whatever at the moment people are feeling really liberated Tracey and wicker is working its way indoors however you got to be pretty smart with wicker when you want to make it work in this day and age because too much of it can look a little bit overplayed and you don't want to have a wicker shocker so like talked about we've bounced over accentuate today's look is wicker world and how you can add a bit of extra texture a la rúa you remember that fabulous TV you anchored the wicker you did some really good deep velvet fabrics and all of that is really going to balance the whole thing out but where do you want to start you know what's a wicker just imagine in your mind that texture is the new colors okay you want your home to be a feast for the finger yes it's a touchy-feely extravaganza from the whackers to the velvet it's really rewarding and let's start off in the back wall there you know like three-dimensional kinda like Ratan's little woven items as well suddenly become a huge feature wall and really really easy to do you know we actually pinned these up yesterday it took us like 10 minutes to do the whole thing and these are balls and placemats from Ikea they're not sort Mary Ryan makes different colors you want to get some flat elements in there some more textured elements and the balls are great because they give it this kind of three dimensionality you know and you know you could find something like that in a hotel for you you know you want somewhere really exotic I look at that and a few I don't know somehow I come over or can a black panther a little bit up and I love it no and I like the fact that you can get big impact by using multiples and you two are the masters at that so you don't spend a lot of money but get a lot of fifty numbers thing trace it really works well now we've got some great sitting here from Ikea really simple no stress they're very very very comfy but I want to talk for a moment about the shelving we've added what we hope is the perfect shelf II these are actually coffee tables which we've bolted together now it's really important if you're going to do a DIY like this that you make sure it's really really safe and secure so three coffee tables are that way one little coffee table on the top you want to anchor the legs where they meet the base of the table below you want to them safely with a little bracket like that and that way it's completely safe and you might even want a double bubble security-wise and stick on the wall with these as well yeah but what a great way to take a really easy access piece like that but again the wicker talk which is really lovely and just build into something with real structure really good point for those of you with pets or young kids the idea of bolting it again safety we know in the world of TV we can get away with not using this but not approaches it for everybody to enjoy I think that's really simple and really easy and a great idea basically just buying three pieces you are I know of course you know if you change your mind halfway down the line then you can disassemble it take the top part off have one piece going off at an angle it's really modular so I love this we're just digging this sofa you don't indigo is the new black yeah you know I think it's a really beautiful color there's a kind of regality you know after your boy weddings coming up there's something that feels very regal and roil about that particular color especially when it's in velvet right you know and this is a really generous sofa you know you get the biggest butt on there but point it's fine do you like that you know some designers use cushions the Lord secretions on their you think where am I gonna Park just think the whole family's on here everybody's curled up on there it's very deep and you you can bear it like they've got tons of questions and you can see the dab does this soak up that makes it special Tracy you can that's a bed as well because you've often find when you're trying to sleep regular sofa it's a little bit narrow but that's got that extra depth and extra plate no should we talk about swingers on this show in a family kind of a traditional family version every project that we do we add a wicker chair or a swinging chair of some variety this is a really simple piece from Pier one very very affordable again it really speaks to that whole wicker thing you could use this outdoors and indoors it's actually designed with the garden in mind but there's no reason that you can't bring it indoors it doesn't always apply it you can take an indoor piece outdoors but generally speaking you can bring the outdoors indoors soften down with some really lovely linen colors really comfortable that for me is the key piece that's the kick off along with the balls for the entire loom it's enough it's just a little bit crazy but this gorgeous makeshift table in them in the middle and those these are [Laughter] fun it will make you rise you know don't be afraid to add to it and the great thing about these is that they're not connected so you keep them around you know if you wanted an occasional table somewhere else you can pull them apart you can create different heights different shapes as well and I just love the fact that it feels kind of bohemian that I cannot catch like get on the go you know we've got one big kind of dark coffee colored rug underneath there layered up with a Stockholm rug from Ikea on top that to me is a real texture escape and the floor after all as a fifth wall so always think of every detail it sure is you guys have thought of it Oh
