here we have some tree collard greens that are a little bit wilted in fact we had these in our refrigerator for about a week and they were kind of buried underneath some other greens so we didn't see them but then today Rick and I were cleaning out the fridge and we noticed that these were there and we thought geez you know what they look a little bit wilted but how can we bring them back to life so what we're going to do is put them into a glass of water and in a couple of hours we'll come back and see how they look I cut off a small portion of the stems here so that the water can be more easily absorbed into the leaves and I'm going to put them into the water here are the wilted leaves in the water here we are a half hour later and already the leaves are starting to look more hydrated so here we are about an hour and a half from the time that we first put these wilted greens into the water and as you can see they look like they are fully rehydrated it's amazing what a little bit of water will do you
