hi my name is Brenton cloud I'm from cloud termite and pest control we're here at one of our customers home they have an infestation of subterranean termites the question is how do you get rid of these guys they live in the ground well the method that we're choosing to use are subterranean termite baiting stations the name of the product is hex Pro it's from Dow Chemical before we install our stations what we have to do is prep the stations and what Pat is gonna do right now is he's going to put the station's together and add the dusk skirt and the cap so that it protects the station and keeps dirt from getting built up in stations so the second step and we're going to place these stations every 10 to 12 feet around the perimeter of the home Pat's gonna measure he's gonna drop the stations and then we're going to come back and we're gonna drill and install the station so what we're doing here is we're installing the station's into the ground that's gonna create a hole big enough so that we can fit the station's inside the ground so the station is flush on top of the ground and you won't notice them all you're gonna see is the dust skirt on the top of the station alright so we've installed the station's every 10 to 12 feet around the perimeter of the home we're gonna wait a month we're gonna come back and we're gonna check these stations if we do have termite activity we're gonna replace the wood with the bait the termites are gonna carry this bait back to the colony for now I'm gonna wish the termites bone Appetit all right it's been a month since we installed these stations at our customers home so we're back at the house to monitor the station what we're gonna do is we're gonna walk around and we're gonna check each station and if we find activity inside these things we're gonna pull the wood out we're gonna replace it with the fatal fate so let's go take a look at the stations and see what we have all right so this station definitely has termites in it what we're doing is we found termites in this station as you can see they've eaten up all the wood so what we're gonna do is we're gonna pour water inside of the bait tube because the subterranean termites like water want to give them a moist environment and we're gonna put the termites back into the baiting tube the bait contains hexif illumiroom which prevents the termites from molting we're gonna close the station up I love the termites lead the other termites back to this station we've got our bait in place we're gonna let the termites do the rest of the work for us they're gonna deliver a lethal dosage of bait back to the colony and they're gonna eradicate the colony for us now what we're gonna do is we're gonna come back each month and we're gonna continue to feed them bait until we see no more activity whatsoever then our real added value comes into play we will offer this customer a warranty which they can renew each year and what they will get is a service technician that will check these stations each quarter and he's gonna monitor them if he sees any termite activity he's gonna replace the wood with bait offering this customer protection each year it gets subterranean termites one of the most destructive termites in the world if you have any questions about this procedure if you have any questions about subterranean termites please give cloud pest control a phone call at nine forty one seven four six one one four seven we're happy to help you in any way we can it's a beautiful day in paradise in sunny Florida for this home but today's forecast it's cloudy for pests you
