all right today I'm going to be trying out a new product I've never used before straight flex crack tape it's for getting rid of cracks in your drywall and plaster you've got a typical one here that's under a window and it's really only about twelve or sixteen inches long but I'm gonna try this out on the crack tape see what we got all right so let everything dry overnight here's one of the cracks underneath the window I used the crack tape by straight flex gotta say this stuff I'm pretty impressed with I mean there was a pretty good crack there and it covered it and it's still pretty flat so I'm gonna do one more skim over that and that should do it once again that crack taped by straight flex so far so good all right got the second coat on the crack tape it is gonna be in my tool tote from here on out for cracks I mean not only is a product strong it's nothing like a paper tape or a fiberglass mesh tape it's a composite way stronger SAP flat because this is just like doing a butt joint basically you're building it out on the drywall so to not have a bump pretty darn good so let that dry and sand it and shoot another video there's the crack repair with the crack tape I bet at the tape and skimmed over it and then did one more coat sanded it it's perfect definitely going to use that again Plus this tape is super strong it doesn't just tear it needs to be cut with scissors or snips or a razor knife so it's super strong I don't think that's going to crack again sold on that stuff you
