okay folks today we're going to show you how to extract the eucalyptus seeds from the little capsule they grow in so I don't think you grow eucalyptus trees like I do but when I harvest the seed they come in little combs acorns kind of like little acorns like this you can see that inside those little acorn shape seed pods are hundreds of tiny little seeds okay to get them out of there an easy way to do it so what I do where I take them off the trees I put them in the stainless steel shaker and I'm dry in the house for about two weeks or so three weeks not a dry outpatient I change them over there you look real good then I put it in this one here this one is perforated it's stainless steel kind of like a spice shaker and I put them in there so now I taking a lot of them like my shaking that a lot of those little seeds are falling out of the feet Apple tell him into that one put the perforated lid on it take this little stainless steel cup flip it upside down play mix in a drink and the result is look at this eat coming out of there I devised this method a long time ago so inside this here you will see the seeds that have come out of the seed capsules this is parent Jana and there's probably parbleu wa mixed in there as well so you can see it's very very fine I'll put some in my hand and you can see it is like dust each one of those seeds grow to eucalyptus tree so I'm sending this to somebody so why are you on the end of this puddle I got a little Ziploc baggie and then I take the seed and I put it down the phone into the bag just like that so there those are ready to ready to ship is a lot of feet in there there is a lot of feet in there there we go now although the eucalyptus seed in that little bag that I've just extracted from the up from the little seed pods and more will come out of here too here we go it work it out and I guess I'll put that into a baggie as well so there you have it folks that is the easy way to extract you can lift the seeds from the sea pod show you something here just here for sex you see that in there that's what they look like okay and then they open up on the end and that's where the seeds come out and the seeds are you see that right there that fine powder that's the eucalyptus seed right there tiny little seeds grow massive trees and they grow very well here on fall spring autumn so anyway try that folks if you want to grow some eucalyptus from seed and you've got some trees nearby where you can harvest some seed that's an easy way to do it thanks for watching
