this episode's sponsored by ladyfootlocker.com you have a lot going on work school friends kids cocktail parties go prepared and look good while you're doing it head to everydaydriggers.tv to save 10 off orders 50 or more at ladyfootlocker.com welcome to common man cocktails i'm your host derek shulman today we're going to grate the shipwreck this recipe has kraken that's what rex ships right there that's the kraken he's huge why you've seen him no no there's a ship right there it is wrecked so three ounces of dr pepper one ounce of kraken one ounce of jd so we get some jack daniels here um gold medal winner and a half ounce of cinnamon schnapps we're using this one because it's aftershock and if anything's gonna shock you it's gonna be sinking in a ship after oh obviously oh recipe submitted by tk virus just to let you know i'm gonna it doesn't say shake strain what or whatever so i'm going to assume we're not going to shave he's got dr pepper but we could probably easily do a nice stir up here stir up this thing should put on your feet sorry so let's start with some jd ounce and for those that might be hearing throughout this week a bunch of creaking noises that would be my son trying to build off this prime just saying and let's do some cracking one ounce all right oh yeah that's that's the stuff except when the jack daniels came in it kind of i don't have any more nose hairs left thanks for sharing really didn't need that many anyway i mean we really didn't need to know and i made some uh some sodastream version of dr pepper known as pete's choice and uh that was kind of a pain because pete was a really cool guy he was nice now that the the problem was um my co2 cartridge was done or not whatever cartridge now you're going to get the caster well what i did is i bought three so when i'm two down i can send those two back and have one loaded and ready to go and that way the other ones can come in maybe i'll get another one next time so i'll have four and i'll just keep building up my my collection of explosive material to go with all the alcohol yay i think it's only exposed because it's under pressure so you can't fly with it right like queen confidence contents under pressure yeah i was thinking under pressure like yes the song like the one that vanilla i stole and then ruin nice nice baby yes the heck is my glass what is that that reminds me of rum and coke that's pretty much what you got only dr pepper and cinnamon schnapps and gangbee yeah just like it it's like it no it's that cinnamon though i don't know it's like fire water rum and coke no it's because in college when i was coating i would have fire water and coke just mix them together because after a while hunter proof fire water makes it hard to code so you need to dilute it a little bit and you really didn't notice until you stood up that one time oh yeah boring but functional a lot of neat little flavors going on you get i think this is like the this is like the sampler when you go to the restaurant and you don't know what you get and you get like a sampler of all these tiny little things that you can sample this is like the sampler you get a sweet i don't know what that is actually it's more of a like i want to say bourbon so i'm gonna guess that's kind of the whiskey playing through you get a sweet spicy whiskey meets cracking um the rum the nice spiced rum you are also getting the cinnamon no doubt and a little little dr pepper thrown in so with the carbonation the doctor these guys are almost pairing that way you get these two flavors almost combined with these two flavors side by side and they move around your mouth they change kind of where their tastes come from around the rosie these spirits are playing ring around the rosie in your face i've never used that one before thank you i want to use that it's like the roller coaster but instead ring around the ropes which is a song about like death right yes well it's a great childhood weird kid let's think about death when you're a kid i never really think about it it's all about perspective i guess so there you go that is the shipwreck very flavorful won't be for everybody because it's got a lot of crazy ingredients people might not like this it might not like that screw those people good drink everydaydrinkers.tv we're teaching you how to drink keep you
