are you having this problem your car is off but you come back to this [ __ ] and the lights the brake lights are still on but the car is totally off are you having this problem if you are follow me and i'll teach you how to fix it this is so all right guys now in order to get the brake lights off we're going to need a couple items we need three pennies and tape these items right here if it's as simple as i believe yours is like mine is this is all you need and your brake lights will turn off right off let's get it man since my brake lights actually don't turn off i just simply just unplug the battery so since i'm about to actually fix the problem let me just plug it back up simple fix well i'm not tightening it yet i'm just gonna do it to where at least this has enough power to you know get the thing started you know what i'm saying do it like that now if we go to the back let's see as you can see the lights don't look at my license plate [ __ ] the lights are still on oh [ __ ] my license plate all right but the lights are still on they're not turning off the car is not even on so let's get to the business all right guys i'm down here by the brake pedal and the first thing i'm gonna do is show you the reason why the brakes are staying on now if you go into here under my 2001 honda accord if you can see once you press the brakes you see that little hole right there that was right there you see that hole there's supposed to be a piece right there there's supposed to be a piece because as you can see oh [ __ ] there's a button that gets pressed there's a piece that goes right there and there's a button that presses this button down which is the brake lights right there this black button right there the p-style but we used to be there pressing this button down which turns off the brakes and that piece is no longer there that piece is actually broken off right here i have no idea how it broke but it's right there and i found out from looking on the floor so now i figured out why my brake lights are staying on if your braking lights are staying on and there's nothing to do with that it could have do a lot to do with the wiring the switch and everything and that's i'm not getting it today right now if you're just doing that you're [ __ ] now i'm just playing but uh it's just gonna be a little bit more work right now that's where the switch is right there and everything it's gonna be more work but right now i'm gonna tell you how you guys how to do this easy ass fix to get the brake lights to turn off let's get it all right guys now it's time to show you where the three pennies and tape come in hand so what i would do it'll be actually easier if you can glue the pennies together glue them together you don't have to i'm actually not but what you got to do is easily right now i'm gonna just show you what they have to do where the hole is you basically insert the pennies right there i gotta put my phone down guys i'm sorry but i'm gonna show you guys anyway well so basically i just entered the three pennies where i just put it right there in front of the hole that used to be and now the three pennies are pressing the button down and i almost guarantee that my brake lights are off let's go check bow bow bow brake lights off you know what i'm saying so in order to keep it that way and keep them off what i'm gonna do is just tape the three pennies on to the [ __ ] hole i mean just take the three pennies onto the latch and then hopefully everything stays good and just brake lights stay off let's get it man all right guys here's the final final product right here everything is working fine so far as you see if i press the pedal the button gets released and the brake lights are on i let go of the pedal the button is pushed and now the brake lights off press the pedal button release let go button is pressed and that's how you do it and that's how you do it man i feel so good i did it myself brake lights are off easy fix let's get it man money my mom i
