okay so today we are continuing some work on our brand new tee 2016 Nissan Titan XD pro-4x it's brand new so we're adding some bling-bling to it if you will weed in another video we did running boards so check that out in this video we are going to update the sill plates which are these plates right here they're just a plastic popping insert and we're going to update them or upgrade them to a lumen 'm aluminum insert so that's what they look like so we're gonna go ahead and show you how to replace these they're very simple you really you don't even need any tools except for your hands if you see by the new one they just use pushpins which a lot of body pieces do and you can either get a tool if you want that prize these up or you can use your hands if you've done this before you know it's a little cut it's it's a it's a tight fit but with a little gentle force you can pop them right up so you put your fingers on both sides kind of wiggle it up and if you can get your fingers under there you just get as close as you can and pull up and it'll pull out now these are made that this set we sell here the part number is one three three eight seven two and this kit is all four pieces it's the front driver's side the front left the rear right rear left and front right you will want to pay attention when you're installing these because they do have the position marked on them plate kicking rear inner left-hand are our INR LH and that's because the contours match exactly to the factory we source these actually through Nissan just to get an exact matching part so we are gonna sell the kit the set of four and we'll put a link in there if you want to buy it to make it nice and easy you don't got to go to the dealership but so we're just going to make sure we got the rear inner left-hand that's this one when we pulled it out there are these little felt washers that are kind of laying in there the new one comes with new felt washers so you don't really need to keep the old ones in fact you may not have enough room to snap it if you put both on so here we go we pop the first one off real easy we'll pop the new one in real easy these little tabs and all line right up to the existing if you've ever done installed aftermarket stereo on the older cars this is where a lot of times you hide the wires under these kind of things on newer cars it's getting more difficult to do that but that's all there is to it that one is done there is a little protective plastic here which I'll pull off when I'm all done and cleaned up I'll pull these off and then we'll be done so now we're going to move over to the front left now we're on the front driver's side same thing get your fingers under there okay so the front comes off the front is a little bit different this tab is a sliding tab I did bend it up there to see it but it's plastic so it didn't really hurt it but these tabs snap right into there so that will go in first if I had a vacuum I'd vacuum out some of this dirt otherwise I'm just gonna kind of wipe it out trucks brand new only 200 miles on it but I figured out a way to get it dirty take our brand new one again look on the bottom make sure you've got it says LH plate kicking front inner left hand and it even has arrows to tell you the front but we knew that because it has the sliding thing there so to install same thing I'm going to slide it into this tab first same thing on the pushpins I didn't clean out those washers but oh this actually has different snaps there is no washers so and that's it and you got the plastic trim to remove and these really what this upgrade is it's it's an aluminum insert and it says tighten so it's nothing it's just a little flashy thing it matches the color it looks cool so you know put some bling on your truck that's all I'm really doing they serve not much of a purpose maybe they last longer but I mean it's really just looks it's now I'll pop the other two on and we are done you
