actually before I cut it I should point out to you this part you don't want to be cutting up like this you want to be cutting down so that way this these edge pieces don't get ruffled up and get weaker because that will cause a bit of wear on the cardboard since cardboard like I said isn't exactly the most durable stuff in the whole world absolutely let me see if I can just angle that a little bit for you let me do that instead all right so just take it cut down get one side at the other side straight across just keep cutting away on the sides until you get that flock like there we go once again see how you have the flap here next just take your exacto knife that's really bad lighting I apologize here on me there we go that's a little better I think and just cut right here with a flap is now please I'm only doing this so you can see how to do it do not cut it like this because you could slice yourself or the exacto knife alright so I'm going to be careful please safety first alright and that is your end result for this all right the next step in the project you got your two paper clips third one we'll use later want you to take these bend them so it look like that both of them alright then using your needlenose pliers you're going to cut off the sp splits in the center so you'll end up with four pieces that look like this these are going to be your wheel mounts now for my real na strap car I use I screws but for a project like this it will do so take these of these find a good spot on the body where you think that's going to go so and also try to use the small ones and put those out back because that's going to provide less wobble and that will give you it'll use up it won't be wasting as much energy when it goes off if there's less wobble in the wheels on the drive wheels so if you want and also make sure worker these back wheel mounts go it's exactly halfway between here and here so somewhere make the center of it right around there so I'm going to stick all these in and show you the next step and the next step you want to take after you've cut your paper clips down to size like this you want to cut them a little further make them parallel so the ends are equal in size as you can see the rest of them I haven't done that yet and after you've done that if you're using a regular paper clip that's all-metal you're in the clear but if you're using one of these out ones that has plastic on the outside of it take a pair of scissors or pliers and cut somewhere about - here and there and remove the plastic from move the plastic coating from paper clips and after that it will make it a world easier to poke through the cardboard body as you can see we have our wheels our wheel holders in the cardboard like so pretty secure this one isn't that's because I had a little bit of trouble with it but the rest of them cause it's fairly thick cardboard they won't they don't wobble very much all right now it's very important that you make sure that both of the pieces of plastic that you cut off of them are equal in length so they end up the same spot the metal doesn't matter too much what I want you to do with these afterwards take them once again see if I can do this see I get them firming my hand the pliers I take hold cross and Bend so that way see how they're now angled like so all right he's little must take them off the bangle all of them just showing with one you stick it hot way in your cardboard twist will off they're not nice and solve it up there oh my gosh it's firm inside the cardboard on the inside there's no little pegs that are sticking out on the other end so go ahead and just do that with the rest of them all right once you've gotten all the wheels holders in place as they are like I said completely flat on this side with all the metal spikes are now inwards in the cardboard and that also helps reduce wobble like I said this one got squished a little bit I tried too hard before I made it simpler for myself and for you the next step after that if you want to if you're not feeling too sore about how sturdy your wheel holders are you can always just put a little drop superglue on each thing to hold it just give it a second or two to dry you
