Prep. Base. Additives. Package. Label. Prepare for the project. Gather the ingredients and equipment. Create a safe workspace that is clean and
secluded from children & pets. We recommend wearing protective clothing such
as long sleeves, an apron, goggles, gloves, a mask and a hair net. In a large bowl with pouring spout add sixty-four
ounces of Crafter’s Choice Creamy Hand & Body Wash. Warm the base to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This will allow the fragrance to incorporate
properly. It is important to keep the base below 120
degrees Fahrenheit because the higher temperature may render the preservative system inactive
leading to mold, bacteria, and fungus growth. Next we would normally scent the wash with
fragrance oil but we have a problem. Our hand and body wash is a water-based product
and our fragrance is an oil. Water and oil will not mix. To solve this problem, we must use the Crafter’s
Choice Fragrance Oil Modifier to make the fragrance oil and water bind together. To modify our fragrance oil we will need a
small bowl. Add two point six ounces of FO and EO Modifier
and point six-four ounces of Crafter’s Choice Moonlight Path Fragrance Oil. Blend well. Add the new fragrance mixture to the base
and slowly mix. Stir gently to avoid the mixture from bubbling. To color the hand wash, add twenty milliliters
of Stained Glass Violet Purple Liquid Color. Gently mix until color is evenly distributed. To package the product, pour into bottles
that have a special foaming top. These special tops inject air into the wash
to create the foam consumers love. Fill the bottles by weight with eight point
five ounces of foaming hand wash in each bottle. It is important to leave space at the top
of the bottle. This gives room for the foamer top and allows
it to function properly. Filling the bottle too high will result in
the hand wash coming out in spurts of liquid instead of foam. Allow the product to cool completely. Once cooled, twist the tops on tightly. If you plan to sell your Moonlight Glow Foaming
