hi everybody today we're going to do almond milk that was it an experiment I wanted to see if we take blanched almonds and which means that they don't have the brown shelter them and try to put them in the Vitamix and and see how different are they between that one and the ones that are not Lance just all the helmets so let me mount the camera and we're gonna get to it alright so we'll add three cups of water so we need to the ratio by the way is three to one so we've got three cups we're gonna put the blanched almonds in the jar put the cover on and mr. Vitamix himself all right so that's been a minute let's let's taste for consistency all right so here we go we got got the own milk and this is just how it looks like okay just gonna put a little cuz I I really want whoa this is like milk Cheers very smooth you wanna taste it I would but I wouldn't I hope to baby at one date in this I would put maybe one date or two dates and this just to sweeten it up a little but man it's very smooth like there's not a lot of grit into it taste it it's one with this taste it that grit that does up grit yes and when I when it's it's uh everything's okay people update here because they let it sit down a little all the grip one down so when we blended it a little there's more than that but I guess you know if you put in and out in like a can and and pour it every morning or whatever when you use it it all goes down to the bottom and you get what I taste it yeah which is basically very smooth Elmo nope and like I said if you want it a little sweeter just add a few dates to it and you're good alright so next now that we know how this the consistency of this one next we're gonna move on to the elements with the button with the shell or the bone so these are not blanched so some dates alright so we decided you know what we're gonna we're gonna actually use this milk so we're gonna sweeten it up a little with two dates and just just remove the pits you want to add some ice to that no it's okay so let's uh let's taste it this is uh right after so it didn't settle and we should do some Cheers here Cheers nice I like it this is very yummy I could definitely drink this every day with my cereal or whatever that's a great success with done with the blanched almonds okay so our next step is to do the whole ailments why can't I pronounce it right why and we'll see what the difference is in taste all right so we have let's add up the water three cups of water let's add the all helmand unshelled to date now we'll do the same thing this is taste without the dates first and this is what updates and we're gonna go ahead and start it up okay so that was one minute of blending let's see how it does okay yeah let's see let's see you why am I talking in an accident who knows here we go so this one is the unbranched whole helmet and you can definitely taste more of as if you're just ate at an ailment just weird weight different taste the other one was almost like pure yes this again it's the skin the show I can tell you right now that if I was to make a little milk every day I would I would take the show off because this you can you have a lot of element taste in it so it becomes less of a neutral milk plus there's more grit to it I'll finish this guy so let's add the two dates here and we'll see the taste after so this one is the whole I'm blanched put some dates in two days actually oh this was not bad yeah without this another thing I want to just test is to wait a little and see what happens when it's sediments a little to the bottom but notice you can definitely see the the grit of the shell it's kind of hard to tell all right so we waited a few minutes here just to let it settle a little to see if it makes a difference let's see well I will mind us has a little thick consistency but with cereal if you don't want the great you would have to strain it I think I think both ways you would have to strain if you wanted it for like say coffee but if you wanted it just for like cereal or put it into baked goods or other cooking items that you wouldn't care about the texture then both of these are perfectly great I mean I'm liking them both they have a little bit of different taste but that's now a matter of preference and I'm getting a big balance here for my friend here big nods huge like this all right yes so the dates really made a big difference I think yeah plus maybe read because we blunted it a little more all right sorry if you enjoyed this video please please thumb up subscribe so you can watch other videos that are coming up and I hope to see you next time please put your comments by I so if you enjoyed this video please please thumb up please subscribe if you want to watch more videos in Vitamix all sorts of stuff technology stuff batteries and whatever recipes jokes rants stuff like that alright until next time bye I'm gonna do an alternate ending all right so we're gonna move to the whole helmets whole Hellmann's next whole Hellmann's Ullman okay elements yeah now you're going to ailments almonds right almonds almonds right whole helment and how many like wait Hellmann's mayonnaise helmets all right
