hi guys mr. mime walaikum welcome back to my channel in today's video I am going to be showing you how I make my easy-peasy king prawn curry the third thing that you're going to need is my infamous and then gravy the second item that you'll need is 1 chopped tomato the third item you will need is obviously in your corn I'm using 2 packets of forms here because I have a large family to feed but feel free to use 1 packet the part we're going to be using today besides salt in poverty spoon of turmeric powder 2 teaspoons of cumin powder 2 teaspoons of coriander powder and a dollop of tomato puree and then for garnish you're going to need some chopped up coriander so for the convenience e of this videos kind of course I'm using today are detailed and ready cleaned pawns if I were filming I would be share my own prawns and take out a bit from the middle point get cooking I'd like to show you how I clean my prawns what I like to do is empty it forms into the don't like to zip then I take my normal standard cooking salt salt it's a really good bacteria killer I love to sprinkle it over everything and give it a good rub and then wash it on the lukewarm water sprinkle a bit of salt over the prawns and then falling from loose a little set and literally just wash it with my hand likes to throw that water away and you often I find sometimes don't have this smell to them a fishy smell but you might find that after watching it with salt it tends to go away much better so just washing it with water on its own so I like to do this very high so normally if I want building on a daily I would have my extract amount on but for filming purposes I'm leaving my extractor fan off for you guys so first thing first we're going to put the gas on and make sure we heat this pot up and after a minute or so I'm going to add some oil now I don't really have a measurement personally but you can use about two tablespoons worth or less than that if you are a health fanatic the flame should be on just below medium heat until point you to see the amount of oil that I've use I am a bit generous when it comes to oil but that's the way I cook guys I'm really sighing as my onion gravy to the heated oil for the top I'm going to use about half a teaspoon to begin with I feel like it needs a bit little accident of the show ahead and actual milk voiceover needed because I totally forgot to tell you guys as you can see add the tomato that's so and because we already have ready-made gravy you don't really need to stand around the hall for longer than you'd normally do if you were using freshly chopped onion we're going to roll straight ahead in with the spices as all be piped into the pot and give it a quick mix at this point because I'm cooking really slow I've got my flame on the lowest heat possible of the gas but if you're working at speed and you kind of know what you're doing with this recipe then keep it on medium heat and just keep going at your own pace but if you find that new ones who work a bit slower with this curry then absolutely by all means go ahead and sweep it on a low flame just going to give it a stir like so right at this point anyone would a fuse that you just check up on this chuckle bit of watering to make it a nice runny curry and that's it no no no no no no you need to wait for these war spices to cook through so that the raw smell of the spices goes away and that will only go away by you waiting for a couple of minutes and serving and once that raw white smell burns away your credibility because the raw spice mill will be interested anymore it also our aromatics for this process and we call it in Hindi will Nikki process does take about one to two minutes I reckon and in that time you can heat up your kettle of water because we will need some of that right for me it's been about two to three minutes already and I can smell that the raw spice smell has gone away and it now smells very aromatic very come together very like a curry and it's quite what I'm going to do is check in my palm I'm going to give this a mix as well so at the moment you have a masala which you look like a No and added upon to it and we're going to toss it around in this masala before we go ahead and add some water to create that runny gravy and I'm going to let this crisis cook well in the pond I'm going to keep stirring at the same time you don't have to serve as massive answering by the way guys I think I just nervous about drilling myself right we going right now the question is how do we know when the right time is for us to add the water from the kettle well when you can see that your columns are almost half cooked and you'll know about the health books because they start shrinking in size that's when you know the hard cook and it's time to add that water from the sample with this adding of the water there's no right or wrong if you like a very runny curry then absolutely go ahead and add lots of water if you like a lunar soil curry then you don't need to add as much water or not at all if you like it very very sick and really sad what you will notice is once you add heated water you tend to create like little bubbles on the side or it just tends to soil up here you're waiting for those bubbles to disappear with the heat so you can assist your flame up to about medium heat yet another voice over I forgot to mention that you want to put the lid on wait for a couple of minutes and when you take the lid off and voila all the bubbles will have disappeared with the heat and then you want to give it another stir and by responds do not take long to cook at all which is like one of my favorite dishes to cook because it's all secret UVA with my onion gravy you can just whip it up super super class and this is literally ready to come off the hop but because it does what I'm going to do is I'm going to taste it for salt disgusting joking joking hey bong pong going to turn the flame off what I'm going to do is just garnish it with some coriander boom with them here you go guys super super simple and I think guys that was my easy-peasy prawn curry how I stay at home I hope you guys enjoyed
