hi this is jeannie carey from trinity tree and today we're going to make a fresh wreath using some live magnolia we got this new ribbon in yesterday that's mississippi i mean it's mississippi i mean we had to make something from mississippi so and of course mississippi's magnolia it's even got a little magnolias on there so we may use that and some other kind of ribbon for like a bow when we get done but we're going to just show you how to do this first now this is just a box wire wreath it doesn't have any twist or anything on it 16 inch frame and this is just four wire it's a paddle style it came from walmart so the first thing you're going to do is just attach your wire start with give me kind of a thick clump to start on the inside i'm going to the ones that have like a magnolia bud i'm going to use those on the inside because they are kind of heavy and what i'm going to do is just kind of push the leaves out of the way and take the wire and just wrap it all the way around the frame all the way around the branch and now i need and then i'm just i need a second clump to put on that middle watch for spiders yeah it's all about okay and then when i layer the next two layers uh next two branches i'm gonna lay it where it covers up my stem from the previous branch go ahead and give me a second one i'm gonna do two at a time where'd you get the magnolia the magnolia store come on seriously what alpha magnolia tree where what i mean you've got christmas trees in your yard but no magnolia trees well did you stay alone well now it's not it's not stealing it you know it's a person's yard the magnolias came out of and they trimmed the magnolia it wasn't a it wasn't a yard it was a pasture i mean that's that's different you know when you just go in somebody's pasture and clip some branches do some trimming trim them trim the trees tell you what i i got something bit me on my legs something bit me on my face so watch for bugs right probably got chiggers see there goes one right there got it probably got sugars all over me i love the magnolia lace because they're you know pretty green on one side and then on the back side they're brown and i don't know what it was but why but the leaves on the west side of the tree there's another one little green spiders the leaves are browner than the ones on the east side i don't know basically what there's another one my gosh you know what i should have done is seal these branches up in that plastic bag at least for a day maybe things would die i don't know now there's a way to condition the branches you're gonna have to get some more out of that sack or i'm gonna have to regroup i'm gonna have to regroup and thin them out space them out a little more see i've kind of layered each clump of branches and later laid layered another one on top when you get around to the where you meet yourself that's one part that's a little bit harder to do i could have picked up a tree frog or something you didn't cut too much no i didn't it takes more than you think it will i don't know how many it was but of course we're going to put a bow right down here too so about a couple more clumps is really about all i need well might as well try to use them all huh hold that right there a little bit out of the way if you can i know let me get that other one too see if i can get it all i'll get that take that leaf off big bug get that right there or what is that i don't know there it is on the floor here that's a cricket that is not a cricket looks like a cricket thing that's what it is stink stinkbug okay now i think i'm this is my last clump that i'm wiring in and after we get get it secured we'll kind of hold it up see if we have any gaps and have to reposition things those wire cutters all right cut that wire off okay just secure that wire to the back and on a wreath like this you may want to put a make you a hanger out of a zip tie or something lost our center makes a big wreath this big this is our wreath uh on the just hanging on our door that we use for images if you have any leaves that are buggy you can just snip those off it's got a hole in them or something i guess which means i could put this on the back porch and we could have brunch tomorrow good you could oh okay okay i like it yeah i think it was good we just wired it into the wreath frame with that extra wire we had back there okay put it on your porch okay i'll put it on my porch tomorrow we'll have brunch well what are you gonna bring uh the kids okay all right well that sounds good okay thanks for stopping by be sure and subscribe to our youtube channel bye you
