all right guys today we are going to do crayon melting and we're going to try it one with wrappers around the crayons and one without the wrappers on the crayons and you can decide which you like better so you can see we've laid the crayons out the order that we want them just like that we're doing it in a rainbow and so the first thing we're going to do we're using mod podge you can also use hot glue but just put it just paint a line of glue right over right across the top of the canvas like this then just take your crayons and we're leaving the wrappers on them if you take the wrappers off it'll still work just stick them to that glue you can also do this in a circle if you want now just take your hand and press them down really firmly and then just wait for them to dry and then after they dry we'll do the next part okay guys after your crayons have dried onto the canvas then take your blow dryer set it to a really high heat and then turn it on and what you're going to do is drag the blow dryer back and forth like this and you'll see the wax will start to melt and make that color drip down hey who's ready oh okay now who's ready oh also let me say make sure that you put lots of protection on the surface underneath the canvas because this wax is really hard to clean now you can experiment with the motion of the blow dryer and be careful you can see i've touched the blow dryer to the i've touched the blow dryer to the canvas and now there's wax in my blow dryer which i don't really want but experiment and see what happens when you hold it down in one space right at it what happens when you hold it above it and and see what different effects it makes you can also try having it on low or high or different speed settings you can also spray or not spray but blow directly on the wax because it'll do different things than when you're spraying over the crayons that are still covered let's see what one would look like using crayons that have been taken taken out of their wrapper all right guys i hope you enjoyed this tutorial don't forget to subscribe and in the comments below tell us what country you're from how old you are and whether or not you liked the crayon melt with wrappers or without wrappers we'd love to hear it also share your projects with us on facebook thanks for watching guys we'll see you next time bye you
