hello youtube today I'm going to show you how to keg your beer using a commercial keg here you're going to clean out your keg and sanitize it with some stars' and I usually put about five gallons of warm water inside adding the recommended amount of stars' and close it back up and just shake it all around yes what we're going to do today so you says here we're going to assemble the can back together you're gonna fresh add in the centerpiece it goes in and it you just twist it just a little to the right and then you have to replace this Oh ring this metal ring you start off in one corner it's much easier when using two hands but I'm using my cameraphone try and do it while I do this but you get one piece under there and you work it around not letting it go what are some safety glasses this thing does pop around it could pop you in it in the eye let's be careful Russell safety glasses but other than that it's not sharp and just gonna take a little moving around but you'll get it take your time okay I tried it with my right hand now I'm doing it with my left and just can't do it with one hand so I gave it the old one too we use two hands and try and get this little funny but as you can see there you go it's in but it's not seated all the way in there wash this around it's not leaking but the pin is not actually set I'll show you how to do that in a moment it's on holding the water it's airtight but it's not set you can come off more anytime and you want to wash this back you've already cleaned it down just roll it back and forth a few times don't let it sit for about 10-15 minutes with the stars' in it right side up and then upside down this is what I'm talking about that little pin right there you have to tap it down and you tap it it'll actually go further underneath that core because if you don't and you're trying to put the this on there it'll go on but it may pop off you want to make sure that that ring is seated in there and right now I have the star sand in here I'm going to turn on the co2 clock ten pounds and I'm gonna go ahead and run that star sand through all the lines and through everything through the cake system there's my little beer I was drinking and and let everything just get cleaned out just here just shooting it all around and show you its star saying there's the star saying coming through the line now it's all through the entire system I'll let that sit now here we are in the restroom and we've already gonna start bringing the beer into the keg I have ten gallons of a Emani California that we did we're gonna go ahead and bring out the first five gallons and then we have this other five and a half gallons we're gonna bring out of this one it goes really fast I'm telling you when you open up this one flows right through it's nice and smooth it's got beautiful color goes right into the keg I know a lot of people say it's hard to sanitize these but it's pretty easy you can see right down you can get a brush down in there if you got something sit in there and clean it what I soaked here it is all kicked up I'm all done I forgot to make the video but it's in the keg I've got it set for about 23 pounds and I'll let it sit there and till it gets to the right carbonation I want so thank you for watching imani blue in little a out you you
