When there's snow and ice out does not mean that
you to stop traveling by bike. In this video, I'll show you how to make your own set of tires
so that you can stabilize your ride. The first thing you'll need is a set of tires that you don't
mind drilling holes into. Next you'll need about two hundred quarter inch pan head screws. Now
this will vary depending on how big your tire is and how big the tread on your tire is,
but you want the screws sticking out just a little bit. And don't worry we'll include
a list of all the things you'll need in the description of this video. Then you'll need a
drill, a screw driver, and some tire liners. Your first step is figuring out a pattern
along your tires that would put about two screws every five or six inches. Then you drill
those holes all the way around your tires. Next, screw the screws into the holes in the tires
from the inside out. You'll want to start this by pushing the screw in with your thumb a little
bit and then using a screwdriver to finish it up. This part is a little bit tedious so you might
want to put on your favorite movies while you do this part. But when you're done, all you
have to do is put your tires on your wheel, line your tires with your tire liners, and put
them on your bikes. It's so rewarding building something that helps you travel better by bike,
especially in the winter time, and it it's always nice to save a few bucks. Best of luck with your
winter adventures, no matter how big or small. I tell you
