hello fish lovers my name is Ramon Cabrera and today we're going to talk about setting up the guppy breeding name so first you clearly need your tank for the trio of guffy that I want to add to this tank one male and two females I'm going to be using a five and a half gallon tank this smaller type tank will make it easier for the male to mate with the female next I'm going to need a filter I'm going to use a sponge filter like this one because they're pretty effective and each of the clean and they will make you stronger currents for the fish before I add the salt here I'll make sure I have my pump for my filter so two things to connect the filter and the pump and the check air valve in case of malfunction happens or the power goes out and the water starts going back up into the tube towards my clump just to keep the pump from getting filled with water and getting damaged I'll go ahead and connect my filter my clump and my check air valve together once I had all of that connected together I went ahead and added the filter to the back of my face you will want to add a water heater and a thermometer to your tank I won't be doing that because I have an external heater that heats my room however you heat your room though you want to keep your water around 78 degrees Fahrenheit once you add your filter and if you need to get thermometer and your heater you will fill up your tank with water just make sure to use some sort of water conditioner for your water to get rid of the chlorine if you're using tap water like I am I will be using aqua phase plus to treat my water and now fill up state [Applause] [Applause] once you happy tanks filled up you're going to want to cover it with some kind of lid I'll be using a glass over the top lid now just plug in and turn on your phone now before you add your fish you're going to want to wait around two weeks to a month so that the water and your tank can tackle and you don't get any horrible ammonia spikes that can kill your fish for my breeder tank I won't use any gravel so I could tank easier to clean after waiting around a month for your tank a cycle you can add in things like liveplan and then after that your fish once your tank is finished and you've added your breeders you think should look something like this thank you for watching and if you have any questions or video requests make sure to leave a comment below bye for now and I'll see you in the next video
