I love sushi I love it so much and after years I've eaten it I decided to teach myself how to make it and now I want to teach you so please enjoy these video tutorials on how to make western-style sushi please rate and comment first we can start off with a half a sheet of nori in a palm full of sushi prepared rice and with wet hands gently press the rice to the edge of the seaweed and once you accomplish that flip over the piece of seaweed and we're going to first add the cream cheese just slice off a thin slice off the cream cheese and give it a little pinch to spread out to the end of the roll then I'm going to add a couple slices of some julienned cucumbers and then I'm going to add some crab sticks now this is a great base roll you can also use a California roll we just reposition the sushi on the mat here you want to get it towards the end now notice my fingers how I tuck in the filling and then squeeze it down and press it in and then roll it over to seal it that's real important to get that nice seal on the rolls next we're going to talk about the ingredients for the seafood dynamite has to be baked on top we're going to start off with the imitation crab sticks here are some base scallops that I steamed up in my bamboo steamer and here we have some salad shrimp once thawed you just give them a rough chop and then we have masago which is an option if you don't like masago don't use it I love it so I always use it in mind so first thing we're going to do is we're going to start off with the paper towel and press down on your crab sticks to get some of that extra moisture away from them and then you're going to want to cut them in half or you can cut them into thirds and you see you just break them up and they become very stringy almost like a spaghetti I'm just gently breaking apart the crab sticks and next I'm going to take the scallops the bay scallops lightly steamed up in my bamboo steamer and I just throw them in there frozen steamed them up and here are the salad shrimp that have been thawed and I give them a rough chop and here we have the seafood mixture you see everything's well combined next I add mayonnaise now it's up to you how much mayonnaise you like this is for several rolls so I did about three tablespoons and then a tablespoon hot sauce to start off with you can always add more and mix thoroughly to combine the ingredients and next you're going to add the masago I like to add it in this final step so I don't mix it up too much with it in there put a piece of plastic wrap down on to the seafood dynamite and put it in the fridge and let it set up for about 15 to 20 minutes and here we have a roll that's cut up I put it in a small tin lined with tin foil just I had a nice thin topping of the seafood dynamite to the roll you don't want too much but you definitely want a nice bite like I said you can change up your base roll beautiful thing about sushi you can always mix it up and change different things and here you see I just have a nice layer to finish this off I put this in my toaster oven bake it off on broil for about 10 minutes and here you have the end result this roll is you're going to win any beauty contests but taste contest that's a whole different story I hope you enjoy the volcano roll please rate and comment and enjoy the sushi you
