to cooking with Claudia today I'm making chicken chow mein it's an Asian recipe that is very delicioso yet so easy to make at home so if you want to know how to make this keep watching so you're gonna need some cut-up green onions bean sprouts chopped onions chopped carrots and in this bowl I have some chopped garlic ginger and chili pepper you'll also need some chicken broth chopped bok choy oyster sauce soy sauce Chinese five-spice rice wine chicken breasts that I thinly slice into bite-size pieces and lastly you're going to need some corn starch so firstly I am going to create a delicious marinade for the chicken so into the chicken add in the rice wine soy sauce Chinese five-spice cornstarch and seasoned that with some pepper mix that until all the ingredients I incorporated then set this aside for at least five minutes to marinate cook the chicken in hot oil to develop this beautiful brown color transfer all that delicious nice into a bowl add a little bit more oil and saute the garlic ginger chili pepper and onion and medium heat until the onions turn translucent next add in the bok choy and the carrot at this point you want to start cooking on high heat because what we are doing is we are still finding the vegetables and when you cook that on high heat is going to cook very fast and remain crunchy so stir that in and add the chicken broth and the oyster sauce and this is going to create a delicious sauce and now it's time to add in the pasta and before you add in your pasta make sure it's not overcooked because the pasta is going to keep cooking in the sauce and you don't want it to come up so you and I use spaghetti but you can use whatever type of pasta you have so add in the chicken and mix that all together next cover this up and let the sauce cook and thicken up a little bit for about five minutes when the sauce has thickened toss in the green onions and bean sprouts cook this for about a minute or two add salt if you wish and finish this meal off with some toasted sesame oil to give it a nice smoky flavor and it's ready to serve I hope you guys enjoyed spending time with me today and if you love this recipe you're going to love a lot more of my recipes so don't forget to subscribe to my channel and I'll see you in my next video bye
