hey guys here's what we're gonna be making today it is this pretty tiny um turtle plush so yeah let's get started for this tutorial you will need felt in the color screen black and blue the same colors and thread the template which you can download in the video description fabric scissors and a sewing needle first using Queen felt we need to cut one of each of these pieces we also need to cut out four feet pieces so if you find this difficult I would recommend using the template to place around the shape like this here is what these pieces should look like I decided to give him a little tail as well but you can leave it out if you like now we have to cut five of the shell pieces remember you don't have to use blue belt you can use any glue you like finally cut two small circles for the eyes now spread your needle with black thread and attach these onto the banana shaped piece like this you can also use a back stick to give you my little mouths now set your needle with Queen colored felt ah I'm going to use white because it's a better match than my green colored one and you're going to use a blanket stitch to attach these pieces together it should look like this now we're going to use the blanket stitch again - so this piece onto the base piece so once you've done that you should get this little pouch for the head and and what we're gonna do is just trim off all the excess here like that now we're going to sew the feet pieces onto the base piece again using a blanket stitch you can add the tail at this point - now have some stuffing to these pieces and then we can start to sew up the shelf thread your needle with blue thread and again use a blanket stitch to sell the pieces together so once that's done you should get something like this you can turn it inside out if you like but I think I'm just going to leave mine the right way up now to make the shell part we're just going to take this piece that we've just sewn and our blue set and basically just do a running stitch all the way around the edge and then once you've done that we're just going to carefully gather it like this so once you feel like you've got round about the right shape just take your needle and sew a couple stitches to secure it in place so now we're going to add some stuffing to the shell part and place it on top of your turtle and then just sew all around the edges using a blanket stitch so it should look like this and then finally I'm just going to add a little ribbon bow unto itself like this and once you've done that then we're finished and honestly I really don't particularly like this plush like I didn't like the original push that I made that you guys are requested tutorial on which was slightly different to this but the same sort of concept um and I don't really like this one either because I don't like how flat the face looks like how it it doesn't really work so what I will say is that if any of you guys that make plushies if any of you want to make this plush I would really suggest you sort of change the pattern up a bit and try to make it a little bit better um and then if you do if you show it in a video is once maybe I can learn from that and make a better one and then a better tutorial BF for now this is kind of the best I can do I'm sorry I really hope that you guys like it more than I do um but yeah I think as I was gonna say right I'm going to post the milk tutorial that I posted like I posted the plush update yesterday and I'm going to edit the tutorial now so that should be uploaded to later today and oh yeah my contest ends today April 1st so I wanted to say thank you all for your amazing increase and I've already started the whole judging process but I'm not sure when the winners will be announced hopefully well okay it will be announced this week sometime but I don't know the exact date so just be patient it's really hard to judge someone because everyone is so amazing and I wish I could give you all prizes but I can't I'm sorry so yeah I guess that's all I was gonna say I think that's kind of good it feels weird like having such a long ending thing okay I should really stop talking so yeah thank you for watching bye guys
