okay what's up everyone going to do a quick video to show how to properly remove American Apparel tags if you've designed t-shirts on an American Apparel blank you know that the tags don't just tear away the way some other brands do and I've noticed some of the brands that I bought don't do the best job in completely removing the tags it's kind of hard they'll leave just the the evidence of the tag on there and I guess in fear of unraveling some stitching but I think I found a way that works fairly well and is kind of simple so I'm going to attempt to do it and the first take the first thing you need is a fabric some fabric scissors I think these make all the difference I've tried with some regular scissors and it just doesn't work very well then you're gonna want to hold the t-shirt away from the tag not underneath so that way you don't accidentally cut it like I have before the next thing is to look for the stitching right where it hits the tag you want to get as close and sometimes I just go straight at it to try and get as close as possible that initial stitch will kind of create the guideline for it so like three to four snips should do it after that you flip it over inside and pull out from from the opposite side and it takes a couple of pools but it'll come right out just like that so it's a complete tag all the way out with with no evidence that it was ever there I said clean and I just think it looks a lot more professional I hope that helps watch it again cuz I don't want to try to do that again
