hey everyone things are abuzz right now we're getting ready to head down to the Donnie Smith show and we're taking the BMW down there as well so we got one to give you guys some tips especially for you guys that have never trailered a bike before and how easy it is to actually go ahead and trailer their bike now the first thing and highly recommended is to put a wheel chock in the front of your trailer or truck because that's gonna hold the front your tire down and everything in place the next important thing to do or a very good idea to do is to keep this back time to secure especially if you guys are going on a long long ride that back tire likes to hop around from left to right and can actually unfortunately bring the bike out from underneath you and hey nobody wants to be replacing fairings on a fifteen thousand dollar motorcycle so let's go ahead and show you guys how easy it is to install that rear tire strap now it's very important that you guys are putting this on to make sure straps go to the front of the motorcycle otherwise you go behind it it's not going to hold anything so now we have the back end strap the front ends down the wheel chock so the bike itself it's not going to go anywhere but we still want to tie the front of the motorcycle down to make sure that doesn't bounce around either so let's go and do that now and we've talked about these in a previous video take a look at the link in the corner here now we watch this video more in-depth all we're going to do is use a set of handlebar straps that way we don't have as much pressure on the fork tubes but yet we're able to distribute the weight evenly across the tank and most of all we're not gonna have to worry about scratching any fairings losing any paint or crack anything down the road after all it is the Arctic of Minnesota even though the calendar says spring and these fairings do get brittle in the wintertime so let's go and put this on all right now all I took was about 30 seconds and takes about 30 bucks to put this on and it's gonna save a lot of heartache and a lot of money when it comes time to these hearings down the road here now that's going to arrest our straps and put these it all the way down now this bike is completely secured in the front in the back with the wheel chock give the handlebar straps and with rear tire straps this bike isn't going anywhere for more information on the products featured here please head to our website denniskirk.com you
