hi it's Dave with regal fabric here here to give you another tip on how to remove the slime that all our kids are making from carpet what you see here down below is this blue slime that's been sitting on this nylon carpet for approximately three days so it's it's all stiff its dried out we're gonna try to see if we can do it safe I'll show you a safe way to remove it I'm going to use the detergent today of wool like clothing detergent a fantastic product that's safe for the carpet what we're going to do is we mixed it according to directions in this little container using the horsehair brush like this in warm water apply it to the slime making sure you you work it to gets into deep just like that we're going to do just half of this you can if you want to let it sit for a little while let the warm water sort of work into the product and then it's gonna get loud for a second we're going to use just a standard wet vac our shop vac to try to remove some of that you're gonna work that just like that that's beautiful okay now for the first attempt we we probably got maybe a third of that blue out of that side so what I would do I would put more down working in with the brush working in with the spatula end of this brush you can see some of the blue moving right there on the foam and anything that does not come out with the detergents would be addressed as a stain and that's what we have the white vinegar for I mean I apologize that we have the peroxide for to get rid of that stain so we're gonna try to rinse this off and see what's so as you can see most of this blue from this side has been removed you can see still some of the blue what I would do is I would put one more application of the wool light let it sit rinse it and this is we rinsed it with white vinegar in water a simple one-to-one solution of white vinegar in warm water we rinse it anything that does not come out from there gets treated with three percent hydrogen peroxide which is safe and effective for removing the food coloring from this carpet if you have questions a at all on any of our videos please leave a message below and don't forget we always appreciate if you hit the subscribe button thank you for watching
