everyone it's Anna and today I'm going to show you how to make these really cute peyote triangles they are super easy to make and fun they're really versatile as well because you can make a variety of patterns for example you have this fun which is in really nice colors it's just got a little diamond dbits here or you can make them a bit chunkier and we've got this one I made this one before Christmas so I was clearly in a really Christmassy mood so super Christmas colors we have this one as well there are loads of pattern ideas on Pinterest so be sure you check out Pinterest and get inspired there these can are Greeks they can be used as earrings they can be used a pendants pendants I would put a jump ring through each of the corner and beads and hang it like this for earrings I would just go through the top one hang it like this and I'm just going to show you how to do a plain one just so you know we we get the technique down I've got some comments on my last bead work video saying that it was out of focus sometimes so I tried extra hard to make sure that it was in focus the whole time and almost threw my camera across the room in frustration so hopefully it's better this time and my last bead work tutorial but hey Avenue camera I'm learning how to use it that's enough waffling from me let's just get on with the tutorial shall we okay so I am using size eleven delica beads or you can use seed beads I'm using a size 10 beading needle as I always do and you're going to need around 75 centimetres ish of thread so I'm picking up three beads these are the corner color of my beads and which will make sense as we go on leaving a tail around five centimeters also I'm going to go up through two of those beads and then I'm going to pull the thread and so it makes a nice little circle type thing more like a triangle than a circle eyes bows but you catch my drift so we have them all together like so then you're going to pick up two corner color and you're going to go through the next seed bead which is all the next delicate even we is the one that we didn't go through the first time but we didn't go back up and through and then you just want to make sure that the beads are kind of sat at an angle to each other pick up two more corner color and go through the very next bead which is that one there hidden behind my thumb and pull it round once again making sure that they're SATA an angle to each other and not where the whiskey whiff and then two more seed beads two more delicas oh my goodness two more beads and we're going to go through the final one final bead of the trio and then up through the first bead that we just attached on to the next row so now we are ready to start Row three if you're confused by what I'm saying just turn the sound off and watch the video play ot is confusing to explain so pick up two more delica beads we're getting o through that next corner one and so far we're going to use blue beads but now we're going to introduce the body color of our triangle so we are going to be eventually there we go picking up a white seed bead it's not a seed bead oh my goodness a white bead go through the next corner bead and so now you're coming out the middle of the corner and now you're going to pick up two blue beads things Fetzer if I say seed bead you know I mean delicous and then we're going to go through the next corner bead to come out of one corner bead pick up two beads go down the next corner bead and then you fling your work around to get your finger corn thread because I am the most professional person I know at making youtube beadwork videos that sarcasm by the way then you're going to pick up another main color and go through the next corner bead so you're coming out of the middle of the corner you've got the hang by now pick up two more so you'd be two more corner bead colors this is not to get my nerves and then you're going to go through the next corner bead once again just make sure that they're sat right sometimes they need a bit of a gentle nudge in the right direction don't we all then you're going to pick up your final bead which is the main color we're going to go through that bead corner bead of the first row or of the previous row I suppose I should say and through the corner bead of the row that we just did so you're going to go going through two beads yes you got that hopefully they'll make sense as you're doing it if you're a bit confused so then you're going to pick up two more beads and you're going to go through the next corn bead because we asked about to start row for anything and once again just make sure the beads snap right give them a little wiggle around and fling your work around and all of that then we're going to pick up our main color and go through that middle white bead and then pick up another white bead and go through the next corner bead so like with peyote while it is peyote so like you do with normal peyote you're just filling in the gaps and then adding two beads on the corner basically so pick up two beads for the corner color and go through the next bead lexer my hands smell of orange I just ate two sets Nieman's it's really Pleasant then you're going to pick up another white bead and go through the next white bead and so on and so forth you've got the drift or if you don't you can see what I'm doing I tried to film this voice over for a second ago and my tummy was rumbling so much and you could hear on the voice over so we had to stop get a couple of sets tumors and then start again so just picked up another two corner beads there and then finishing off with some more white beads on main color beads or whatever and then as before going through the corner bead of the previous row and then going through the corner bead of the row that we've just done so you're going through two beads for the final one and then just continue this all the way around so adding two corner beads and then filling in the gaps with the main color all the way around and then two corner beads and so on and so forth just make sure you go through two beads at the end and so this is the last round that I am showing you now you just make it as big as you want there's nowhere there's no limit no no no no move and then so for the final round you're picking up only one corner bead some people like to finish off with two I think it looks nicer finishing off with one it's a personal preference then you do you I'll do me so yeah and then we're going to do it the rest of the row in white and I speed this bit up because you don't need to watch me do this bit it's just standard peyote I have the focus down now you get such arm cramping but my arms are hovering in midair well and then go through that last corner bead there with the row anyway and then you're going to pick up one more corner bead and then we're going to repeat what we did before so go through the next corner bead and then fill in the rest of the row with white as you've been doing for the rest of the time or whatever color you're happening to choose what are your favorite color combinations by the way and I need some good contrasting color combinations for camera I try to do like a black was a green iris and with green and it didn't look too similar the colors are too similar so a final round or final lime pick up your last corner bead mixer wonderful and then just fill in the rest of the row with white and go Gugu super speedy beading we took a beat that's quicker my life I'd be able to make things so quickly you're making a centrist throwing beads around everywhere and then you're going to go through that last corner bead from the previous row I don't go through the corner bead again you can do you can go all the way back through that last row if you want to just to strengthen it up a bit but I don't and then I'm just going to skip that middle bead and then go through the next corner bead and then I'm just going to sew in my ends as I normally do and here's the finished result they're super cute I really like them and I hope you do too I'm interested to see what patterns you come up with so now you know how easy it is to make one of these little triangles of your very own it's super easy this one's a bit looser than this one but then I made this one with a camera in the way so that could be why but they're really nice you could string up a few is what I'm thinking obviously not these colors they don't go together but you could have one in the middle and then one here and then one here attached with jump ring so it's like a little bunting necklace or you have a larger one in the middle and then two in corresponding colors inside so it's like this with the chain could go here you know just a thought just the thought I also haven't done this yet because I'm not organized enough for that so I've just got loads of little loose ones but they're fun to make so I don't mind if you judge the speed on bead work videos because it's either cut out half the video by saying and then go to the end of the line and then cut it and then come back in or speed it up a bit quicker so I opted for speeding up a bit quicker from my last tutorial but obviously that doesn't work so I know for next time or for this time even if you do decide to recreate anything using one of my tutorials
