Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert
Village, I'm going to show you how to make these delicious festive wreath cookies. Now
that we have our ropes of green and plain colored dough all nicely twiste, we're going
to put them on the cookie sheet and form into our wreath form. You want to be careful to
keep the twisted shape and we're going to gently pinch the edges when we put them down
in our wreath shape. So we're going to put it into a circle and you just want to have
about an inch, inch and a half space in between the wreath. If you get any parts that break
a little bit, you can just pat them back together again. But you want to be careful when you're
placing these together. It's not terribly delicate but they will break if you're too
rough in handling them. If they have a little bit of flour coating them from rolling out,
that's fine and actually the little bit of flour will make them that much easier to handle.
You want to make sure as you're putting them down that they stay nice and twisted. So when
you bring them around, you can twist them a little bit more and then you want to pinch
the edges just enough so that they are going to stay together. You don't want to have to
worry about the wreaths coming undone while they're baking. These will just rise a little
bit in the baking cause we used a little bit of baking powder. So you just want to get
all of these out onto your baking sheet before we're ready for the next step.
