hello everyone welcome to how to make a clone trooper costume part six this is the last part of the actual individual pieces of the costume so i hope you've enjoyed our travels this far but today we're going to be talking about the thigh shin and knee armor first of all i'm going to talk to you about the knee armor because the knee armor is uh the first piece that you're gonna put on just because it's easiest and also because you just really need it to be put on first just simply that way so as you can see it's a knee guard from roller skating the straps on so that way i can pull it onto my leg and i've taken the design for the cardboard and i've super glued it to the actual hard plastic so that way i can just slide it on very easily and it stays fairly well into place it's not moving anywhere etcetera next there is the shin plate the shin plate is very basic you can add details if you want i simply didn't and on the back you might recognize this as part of a hockey shin pad i like to use shin pads roller skate equipment just because it makes it easier for the construction and allows your cardboard to be held on and just to be more sturdy and durable so essentially what i did i cut out the design i changed it so that way it would only fit just a bit above where the end of the hard plastic is and it has straps on the back already last is the thigh armor the thigh armor actually i just took a piece of hard plastic that i found and i super glued different uh pieces of plastic that allow me to take straps and run them through and tighten them as you can see fairly simple design taped it here glued it so so anyways thank you for watching part six of how to make a clone trooper costume stay tuned for part seven which essentially tells you all the other things that i didn't think of beforehand thank you very much for watching you
