hi I'm Linda Stahl one of the bakers and recipe developers at Hershey today I'm going to be showing you a great fall favorite and Halloween treat chocolate and peanut butter dipped apples for this recipe you will need we're all set to make our Delicious apples first thing we need to do is to put our popsicle stick in the Apple and now we're ready to prepare the bottom coating you're going to combine 1 cup chocolate chips 2/3 cups peanut butter chips and 1/4 cup shortening this will microwave at medium until the chips are melted our chocolate is melted and ready so I'm going to take each Apple and dip about 3/4 into the chocolate swirl it just a little bit like this place it on our tray now we're just going to let these apples sit here while we prepare the top coating we're going to combine 1 cup chips and 2 tablespoons of shortening you'll melt this in the microwave at medium until the chips are melted when stirred the chips are ready so now we're going to start putting the top coating on our apples and you can see it's quite liquid and it will run down the sides and give you a very nice look to your apples so that's how you make chocolate peanut butter dipped apples to watch the other segments in this video series or for how-to videos on almost any other topic visit monkey-see calm
