all right my name is heated Cubano remin with state room media and today we're gonna go over how to wash your bike properly first thing I like to do is remove my brake pads because I don't like you know getting any contaminants on the pads and that usually leads to squealing so I'm gonna walk you through how to take those guys out come over here there you go brake pads you can mark them if you want to get really technical alright I will meet you guys outside for the rest of the video alright let's do a little before and after those things pretty muddy Oh a cup of wet days here in Colorado we're gonna get it all cleaned up all right welcome back to the how to wash your bike properly video so we've got a very muddy bicycle behind us and first thing I like to do is wet the bike down with some water so helps loosen up any stubborn degrees got that good water pressure then magically invented a bucket of soapy water I'll use like dawn or whatever kind of household soap did you have around get it nice and warm this stuff here it's a muck off bike degreaser so this is good for all over the bike won't harm any of the plastic carbon or bike the braking surfaces so we'll go ahead and spray this all right so we've got that fun begins like to get up in the caliper to kind of clean the Pistons switch brushes you something lastly do the tires like to get all the the frame the stretches alright folks we are back bike is dry and we are going to start tuning the bicycle or at least getting shined up alright so first thing I like to do so let me get my bike spray this is like a water dispersing spray and what this does is it dissipates water from like areas that really shouldn't be having any words and should get this main pitch the flushing of water in there dry for maybe an hour or so now we're going to use the matte finish detailer by muck off I really like all their products works really well so this will not leave a shiny finish on the carbon so we're gonna go ahead and do some of that good one step further and shine up the rims sc1 is like new bike in the can baby works Hubbs we're off all the excess use this leather conditioner from Adam's polishes that works for your car and it also works for your leather components right that there is a clean bike thanks for joining me on this journey and enjoy the day all the products I've used I will list in my youtube channel down here and you know you'll be over you know find some of these products for yourself yeah thanks for joining alright so you can see this thing is nice and clean this shadow here very clean all the products that I used these guys here to get the job done a little bit of tooling a little bit of time and that's all you need
