so this is step two of how to build a three-rail vinyl fence the first step you want to lay out all of your rails there's three rails per 16-foot section once you get all the rails laid out put the rails on top of your post when you place them on top of the posts line them up evenly and then Center them up on your first post because they're going to lock inside of this end post you want to have a little bit of room make a mark in the center of the third post you're going to run that 16-foot rail through the post and it's going to lock in on each side cut the rails with a sawzall or a table saw or a skill saw it doesn't matter slide the rails in the center post are rails come pre cramps but where we're going to cut one end you're gonna have to use a crimping tool to lock the post or to lock the rails inside of your post we sell this crimping tool on our website for one 1999 or $79.99 with material orders these just make little slot so when it goes inside of the post it's going to lock in securely slide the rails into the open post notice we don't slide it into the post that has the rails in already because you need the extra room in that open post to extend it and then lock it into the post with the existing rails once you have all your rels in place your caps on the post we don't usually use glue we like to use self-tapping screws it's just a quarter-inch self-tapping screw screw those caps into the post this is necessary for windy areas for material purchases you can go to wholesale vinyl fencing dotnet or if you are in Southeast Idaho and you need someone to install your fencing just go to buttes fence comm and will come out and install your project wholesale vinyl fencing dotnet we have a wide variety of vinyl fencing products that you can purchase from two three four rail vinyl fencing privacy fencing picket fences if you're in Southeast Idaho you can go to buttes fence comm and we install a wide variety of fences as well cedar chain-link vinyl ornamental iron just go to buttes fence comm and you'll find out the details thanks for watching please rate and comment on our videos
