hey guys it's sandy missouri from balloon utopia and market with balloons so i've been getting asked how do you tie two balloons together this has been probably one of the most asked questions in the comments and so i wanted to show you how i tie two balloons together so you see right now i have two balloons that are individually tied now normally when i'm doing it i'm inflating two balloons at a time and so then i just tie them together so i'm only tying once however just to demonstrate this to you i would have had to hold them for a really long time if they weren't tied off so we tied them off and now i'm going to show you how you tie them together so basically it's just kind of like tying your shoes you're just going to kind of put them next to each other and stretch it and then i go around once twice and then pull it in like that you always want to pull on the nozzle side and never on the balloon because that could put a friction tear but here's the thing guys everybody ties a different way and as many balloon artists as you ask that's how many different ways you're going to see to tie so to illustrate that point i've invited a couple of my friends here we have john justice and john why don't you tell them that your company name and where you're from my name is john justice i'm from marina valley california and my company's name is splendid balloons all right so we have splendid balloons and we have my good friend katie byrne from beltway balloons in dc and they're going to show you how they tie their balloons into duplets all right so i also inflate two at a time and then just hang on to them so that the air doesn't escape and i pull them really tight across each other wrap it around twice and then i tie it very similar to sandy but what i also do is push the balloon against my body so that it gives it a nice round shape and it really helps garland set nicer when they're round like that how about you john how do you do it all right so the way that i tie two balloons together is i kind of give myself a little bit of a hug just like this and as i do that i bring them really tight one over the other just like this and just like sanding i wrap once and twice then i get my balloons here and i put it in between my fingers and i just tie it right there into that big hole nice and simple all right so actually i guess we're not as different as i thought we were going to be and the reason that we're wrapping around twice is because that's going to make it a tighter connection point so there's less chance of the air leaking especially if you're taking it right off the machine when you're inflating two at a time and then tying them which is how we do it uh speedy speedy when we're decorating events so guys come on in you can uh help me close out this video here you got us all all right so you guys if you like this video and why shouldn't you have because look at the talent please click the like button give me a thumbs up subscribe to my video tell everyone you know to subscribe to the video and leave me a comment tell me what else do you need to learn what else have i not explained or just what else do you want to see so until then you guys ready you know my clothes you got you ready yeah all right one two three you
