today's how-to is really easy just take your washing machine drip pan get a metal grate from Home Depot and cut it to size place it in the drip pan I wear these gloves to protect my hands when I cut it because it can be really sharp use a pair of snips to cut it to the right length get a piece of artificial grass from a contractor in the area or off Craigslist wherever you can find it to cut it to size take sharp knife razor and just cut along the threads notice it has holes in it so that the urine can drain through in the water when you rinse the grass just place the grass right on top and you're good to go if you want you can fasten down the edges of the grass with zip ties also if you're going to use this outdoors what I like to do is drill holes right through the bottom that way the water in the urine can leak right through otherwise if you're using it indoors just leave it as is and you can dump it out once in a while window you
