this video has been brought to you by the landscape certified Contractors Association due to the membership support we're able to bring content to each and every one of you if you have a topic or product you like us to review or if you want to become a member visit WWE raw gator techcom and hope to hear from you soon enjoy the video hey this is Richard Agel again from the green industry news and of course we're add another sago palm I got these things all over my yard I love them we trim the one over here to the right I mean it turned out awesome we've got lots of people looking and enjoying it subscribing to our YouTube channel so we love it now right here there's a mail here you can see by the stem coming up I got a lot of old fronds here so they're poking they're blocking the sidewalk here so I want to kind of help the plant really mature itself clean up and get it all so there's no disease no fungus airflow goes through it energy goes to the top of the plant and get it all looking good here so I'm just going to go ahead I'll start from here since everything seems to be pretty bent over now again I'm being a thrill-seeker by not wearing gloves but I'm going to go ahead and take some of these out I got some great Phoenix clippers and man it just cuts it so nice so I'm coming into the center here and trimming this back so it's going to look a little empty for a while but oh it's going to react and go oh my gosh I love this so we're really going to clean it up get this little guy here looking good enjoying life putting energy where it needs to be on the plant we're gonna make you look awesome buddy or to get you back looking healthy and happy get all these little needles off you make your looking good trim it all and this is what you should do let the plant talk to the plant tell them even to help them out well I got a pup right here so I'm going to clean up this old stuff to generate and get some really good energy to these new fronds coming up and we're going to let it have a little time to heal and then we're going to pop these little pups off and put them in plants like we've done in other videos and we've got some great stuff that's worked out real nice for so loved it so you can see this goes pretty quick I got to really kind of clean it up to make it look really nice like if I was at a hotel or any kind of resort it has a little bit it needs some more water so I want to make sure I change this to giving it a little bit more water and take care of it a little bit better and make sure it's doing okay but I'm almost it really hasn't taken that long I'm going to clean up all the weeds now there's air going into this it didn't take this long anybody could do this themselves or you want to make sure that your professional landscape maintenance company does it for you don't be don't just have a mold blowing goal gardener have somebody that knows and recognizes that this is a sago palm and what the growing habits are and what it does ask your gardener ask your landscape maintenance company what kind of plan is this what should we be feeding it what's the good fertilizer how much water should this plant have what should we do to make sure these plants are taken care of I don't want to just have you run in cut everything and go now here's another pot I'm going to cut these little ones off here so it makes it even stronger when I pup pop this thing out and another video coming up so I'm not going to pop it out today I'm going to let it recover give it a week or so to recover from all the cuts and give it its energy back and then we'll come back and make another video taking the pups out and you guys can learn how to remove them and get them to be able to come back and put in some nice pots and have more sago palms so thanks a lot I'll be cleaning this all up today with the green industry news I really appreciate it starting to get in good shape just doing all these little trimming classes so thank you make sure you leave a message for us subscribe to our Channel we really love to respond so it's awesome so thank you the state palm today green industry news
