hi everybody I'm Carlitos this is Carlitos cooking adventures today we're stay in Mexico today we're doing salsa my way this is very original I'm gonna do a green tomatillo salsa with the fire roasted tomatillos and also two types of peppers I'm gonna use the chile de árbol for this spring a beautiful flavor and this it's a jalapeno it just brings a lot more body to the salsa so let's get started always a little bit of kosher salt in the bottom take some of the peppers not too spicy garlic salsa collection garlic and what are these peppers that pepper I'm just gonna help it so now we got all the peppers that garlic and also the chile de árbol that has been cooking oil to get all that beautiful flavor in the salsa on the bottom so I'm gonna go ahead it's a motor I like doing it this way this is very original traditional from Mexico you know what when I go camping and I'm in the beach and I want to make this I literally just take a ball and I use a bottle yes I use a pack of a bottle and put everything in a bowl and that's how I make fresh salsa when I'm on the beach camping so we're almost done now I'm gonna go ahead take so many tomatillos just cut them in half that was too soft see how this feels burnt from the barbecue steaks beautiful nice and smoky couple more like that so same thing now remember not right now but when you're finished doing this you can easily add some water make it a little bit more runny me I like myself some chunky so I think that's it you got salsa fresca salsa verde from the maca head a I'm gonna put this right here okay I'm gonna do this step for you right now this salsa you can put it in the refrigerator all you have to do inside a little bit of olive oil like that a little bit more salt to do is pour this a preservative in the salsa and it will preserve this salsa fresh for up to a week when I'm gonna serve this for my tacos or my tostadas or my sofas in my house I like to add onion I love onions and cilantro Hank don't want to do this if you're gonna put it in the refrigerator put it in the refrigerator perhaps if you do this and you had a really big badge and Super Bowl is over and you have all the salsa the only thing you're gonna do you're gonna add more water and you're gonna boil it you're going to boil it for two to three minutes and then you can preserve the salsa in the refrigerator to use it again but to tell you the truth the thing about salsa is to make it fresh every time so this is my fire roasted tomatillo salsa with jalapeno peppers and some chili they are both fire roasted as well I am Carlitos and if you want to subscribe all you have to do is click right here until next time this is Carlitos cooking adventures
