hello this is how my channel appears if you're a subscriber and I want to give you a quick way of finding videos for your exams this week so the most important button for you to go to is going to be my playlists these are really comprehensive most of these are made at the weekend and you won't want to watch those now but you want to scroll down for the poetry that you've all studied so I've got 10 videos in my relationships cluster if I open that up we'll see which ones are available just scroll through so you can see I've got praise song for my mother gazelle in Paris with you manhunt cousin Kate quick draw our a video on how to write about poetic techniques my last Duchess and a comparison between manhunt and to his coy mistress well of course you might not be studying that particular cluster in which case you'd go back and have a look at my other playlists and keep scrolling till we see something that's useful about poetry and I've got 37 poetry videos in that playlist and for many of you that might be too large although you'll notice there are two videos in that playlist on how to answer on the unseen poem let's keep going then we've got the conflict poetry for 2017 now that's from the AQA exam board and many of their 2017 poems are also being tested this year in 2016 so you've got awesome and yes bayonet charge kid London my last Duchess again poppies there are two poppies videos giving you all of interpretations of the a star how to structure a comparison the a star techniques of comparing poems and again how to write about poetic techniques now it may also be that you're studying poems by a particular poet so I have 15 poems here in the Simon Armitage the Simon Armitage playlist let's just pause that video so Alaska about his person / true North poem by Simon Armitage snakes don't give me the shivers gooseberry season to poverty Hitcher another one how to get from a bee to an a star so you can see how to improve an essay and a simile house kept from a siege would be mother any distance in our tenth year my father thought it bloody queer kid and how to write an a star essay using poetry so most viewers I find just look for suggestions from Google and don't actually used my playlists and if you use a playlist you can structure your revision much more intelligently and usefully the other really popular poet is Carol Ann Duffy let's view the full playlist there so dream of a lost friend wintering who loves you mrs. Lazarus war photographer that's one of my most popular Carol and avi videos the good teachers stealing a head of English answers brothers missus filters class liar nostalgia and in your mind quick-draw and our so hopefully and you will find some poems that you're studying on my playlists if you have other poems that you're studying that aren't there please drop a comment on any of the videos and I'll I'll consider making you an individual video the last playlist I want to show you is Wilfred Owen he pops up in many anthologies so here's my Wilfred Owen playlist let's again view the full playlist and see what's there I've done several videos on futility because I'm aware that some of my students might only be operating at C grade or below so that video will help you get to the C another one to get to the B or to get the ace are everything you need to know is that one all those are about futility exposure inspection and how to write a literature essay that will help you with any essay in literature but it's focusing on Owens poetry and dulce de columnist perhaps his most popular video so there aren't many views with these videos only 350 - I don't know why they're not showing up properly on Google perhaps I'm not using the right tags but really these are a style videos and should be getting much higher views what I also find when I look at my analytics well actually is probably best if I just show you is that some of the poetry videos have some of my highest views so let's just scroll down war photographer for example has had eight thousand seven hundred views and compared to the Wilfred Owen poems that only had about 300 and something views and now my Wilfred Owen poems are actually better the video is actually better than this one so I'm really puzzled as to why students aren't picking those up it might just be that not many people are studying Wilfred Owen so Carol Ann Duffy seems to be my most popular poet closely followed by this one on Wilfred Owen exposure which has had 5615 views but the other Wilfred own poems weren't doing anywhere near as well so check them out if it's relevant to you and good luck in your exams if you'd like any more videos don't forget to subscribe and if you like this one don't forget to give it a thumbs up
