Please explain how to make a crayfish trap

hey guys today I'm going to show you how to make a grey fish trap I just got a sparkling lemonade bottle that we've been drinking and what you'll need to make this is just a knife and some string or i'm using 30 pounds fishing rod so just take the labeling off all you need is a little pocket knife just two liter material so get as much of that out off as you can okay I'll work on that a little bit but off I'm gonna stab right there or it gets to go it starts to go down toward the lid so stab a hole through there and then you want to go all the way around hold on let me get a better nice okay so that's all so I have this pot the pot part of it this can only be used as a crayfish trap you can't use this for a minute cuz for minnows yet that i have it on both sides okay so take this lid I don't like how small that hole is like I can can't even get my whole thumb in there up to my second knuckle so we need to fix that so we're going to cut it about right here right where it starts going up at an angle so yeah man that's sharper knife so you might need a sharper knife or if you have our good pocket knife okay so now it's like that right just like that so the bigger crayfish can get in if they can't still can't escape okay and people say when you cut that the crayfish can escape as it lowers the height all you have to do is tilt it up a little bit so they climb off and drop off so what I'm going to do now is here I'll get my fish extreme I need the tape oh I get my fishing string this is just a hold on the lid so you don't need that much I'd say about two foot cut that okay to foot official are so we're gonna stab a hole here here and here let me make these holes a little better on all okay so there are this hole this hole and this whole this whole wood in this hole so gonna get your fishing line well first you're going to get your lid and make oh here here and here on it so let me get that match up right there's a slit it hold on this is me and there is the last hole so you got your three holes in there and they're so line them up in there looks like I made this whole key close that's fine just make another hole like that so lineart off this get your fishing line and thread it through all the holes robots not cut up crap so string it up like that and then you can't I just a regular not animal off the reason we only did it on one side is so you can open the trap a little bit to get the crepe a shot so after you finish tying that aren't even cut your and I can't grab the string or though why let's just take your then cut it cut so you basically have your trap off now for the rope that you're gonna be putting on to throw your trap out this clip a hole here and a hole here I'll be that I'll do my pocket so I like to get about 10 feet test so you can throw it at different depths in farther out if you need to it's a gives more room to tie it off when it's in the longer so uh those two holes are you're going to have to thread the line down one hole and try to get it back out another you might have to work with it you might have to bend your line a little bit you might have to make the whole little bit bigger which I'm going to do now okay got back through and now I'm just going to tie a simple knot to get these together just feed a simple little not many as you want what you feel secure i do like five cuz i don't want my not to break so that's the trap off or bait just put in a crit not a crayfish free chub just catch creek chub but you're probably in your creek or a bigger shine your minnow or something like that or a little car you've cut it in half and then I'm going to slit the bottom of the stomach and the bottom of the tail to give it like a bloodier smell the crayfish so that's my trap I hope you guys like it it'll take about all a little under 15 minutes so thanks
