Please explain how to clean your violin (fiddle) strings with alcohol safely

hello everyone I'm going to show you how I like to clean my strings with alcohol this is the way I was taught from my teacher and some people are so paranoid about it but thought I'd show how simple and safe it is to use so before I clean with alcohol I usually just clean off the excess rosin I don't know if you can see it trying to look for the back of the camera here I'm trying to get the right angle you can see it's a little bit of rosin on on the strings there so I first clean off the excess with just a dry Kleenex and that's what I do after I might play I might not do it every time sometimes I forget or I'm in a rush so they're pretty clean right now but there's still not as clean as they can be that I like that and I notice a big difference when I use the alcohol so now all I do is put the fiddle down take another Kleenex and I fold it in a little strip just a nice little strip like that and then I keep alcohol and little tiny syrup bottle from Cracker Barrel and what I like about it's got a very small tip so you don't you don't use that much you want it just a tiny bit just dab the the Kleenex into it don't do it over the fiddle and before you even approach the fiddle is you squeeze it squeeze it really tight so that it can't drip so now it's just it's just damp with alcohol make sure your hands are dry before you handle the the fiddle and make sure it's in view then all I do is take the Kleenex and just wrap it around the string and swipe it wrap it around the string swipe it wrap it around the string swipe it wrap it around the string swipe it that's it there's no dripping there's no nothing and they're squeaky clean and there's a huge difference between using cork or just doing something dry rag or whatever and cleaning with alcohol you'll notice a huge difference some people don't like to do it because they think the alcohol soaks into the into the winding the strings and I respect that opinion but I I generally don't worry about it Thanks
