hey guys this is a short little I'm gonna try to keep it under a minute video of where to find the VIN number on a 71 through 73 Ford Mustang Fastback or sports roof I believe this will apply to any 71 through 73 you'll see as I kind of pull back the camera here we're looking at the 71 through 73 this has happens to be a 72 if you're missing your VIN number on your dash you're gonna need to pull your driver's side or passenger side fender right there off the vehicle put it in a secure place get yourself some Windex and if you have a rusty car or wire brush clean off the area right in front of the shock boot forward you'll see your tires here you'll look right here there it is 2f one nine eight three five five that's a partial VIN number the only thing that this is missing I believe is three digits in between I'm not 100% sure on that don't quote me how many but it's a partial VIN but it's definitely enough to get you a replacement - VIN tag so again driver's side or passenger side fender pull it off right where the shock tower is you'll find your partial VIN and that should get you guys taken care of if you're trying to hunt down that VIN number don't follow any other myths you find online it's not in the trunk it's not in the engine bay it's not on the firewall it's not it's nowhere it's right boom right there so the easiest place to do it pop your fender take the 25 minutes locate your VIN hope this helps anybody out anybody have any questions or anything else go ahead and shoot him my way I'd be more than happy to help you out on my channel I also have a more detailed description of how to find this VIN how to pull the fender off all that kind of stuff so we'll see you guys later
