hi I'm Shannon I'm gonna show you how to make some paper flowers using your Cricut so I've already cut out my paper layers with my Cricut and sure cuts a lot and first I'm going to decorate the middle of the flower so that it has time to dry so I'm spreading a yellow ink on the purple paper to change the color a little bit and then spritzing tattered angels glimmer masked so that's going to dry I'm taking the largest petal layer and smearing pink ink onto the petal edges and I'll do this with the second petal layer as well next I want to emboss my petal layers so I'm using my cuttlebug this gives the flower a different texture so you can use any of your embossing folders I like to use ones where the pattern is sort of small since the petals aren't very large themselves so like Swiss dots or this one or Moroccan screen look very cool okay so now I've embossed all of the petals and I'm going to fold in each one of these petals from the center and I just use the nail or the tip of my finger to pick the center of the petal and then bend it and with card stock it's pretty durable so you don't have to worry about ripping it I'm just going to do this to the two larger layers and now I'm gluing them together i glue the second largest to the largest and then I'm going to take the next two petals that are the same size and I've curled in the petal layers if you want to and glue that to the flower and I just want the petals to overlap the spaces from the petal layer below it so that each petal layer is slightly off from the one below it the next layer and now I have left the two smallest ones so just do the same thing there's one okay there the last one okay hey there you can see it I'm going to take the center and I flipped it so that the glitter is on the inside and just bend up each layer and then I'm going to glue it to the center of my flower I probably should have made the center a little bit smaller but that's okay so there's the flower I'm gonna decorate the edges of the petals using a zip dry glue I'm just gonna brush each end of the two bottom layers with a little bit of glue and then I'm gonna sprinkle it with some pink glitter and I just like the effect of the glitter on the end of these rather long petal layers and I use them I collect all the excess glitter if another piece of paper below it so I can filter it back into the petal thanks for watching
