hey guys today we're going to talk about how to clean the glass on your log burner to get rid of all those really annoying smears and soot marks and what have you just see them here is quite obvious so it's three key things you need to be able to do that first of all some kitchen time secondly it's just a plastic bowl with some water in it and thirdly depending on the type of the fireplace you've got I've got a limestone fireplace and it doesn't like water you need something here to be able to protect it from any water the micro inning and the process is really quite simple what you're going to do is gather your paper towel and put it in full oh yeah i forgot to mention the best time to clean this bizarrely is before you clean out your fireplace and what you need is the abrasion in there from the certain ash you already use so I've got my piece of kitchen towel now divided into four all I'm going to do stub it in some water go in and try and find some of the softer rash from inside of your fireplace tend to be the back corner you can see that they're like that and then all you're going to do you're going to rub it in circles like that around the glass going all around and getting is really really annoying stings off you can steve starts to smear don't worry about that because you'll be able to wipe that off with a bit of water if you need to dip in some more water get some more rash out of it as well and again and give it a nice good clean you smell though grease and what have you do well to get nice and clean I have some slight OCD that I want to get this nice and clean and tidy and you know it just makes a nice room when you're having friends or guests around and use one have a nice and clean just keep moving it around there again to all the corners all of the nooks and crannies in order to be able to clean it and you'll get the smears and once you've done the hard work you see all the stuff that's come off there now just going to put that to one side get another piece of kitchen roll do it in 24 dip it in the water again and this time you're literally going to take the smears off like so all the way around keeping it nice and clean like so and then finally take one last piece of kitchen towel and give it a nice good drive down in order to keep it nice and clean and clear so you've got that beautiful fire going in the fireplace you're going to have a really nice clear view event it's going to make some room that's a whole lot warmer and as I said again a few things to remember three key items something to take your fireplace some water three sheets of kitchen towel maybe more if it's particularly stubborn or you haven't done in a while and then some of the softer ash don't use bits of wood habits of work because there is a danger that might scratch the glass so please just be careful when you're doing that and then once you've done that you can Hoover out or brush out at your fireplace and then you can make your fire ready to enjoy it with the rest of your family and your friends I hope you liked the video if you have please like it the links up in the corner and also please subscribe to my channel it's just down there at the bottom for more useful tips on man jobs it's ptc
